I think alot of us are very shy - I'm constantly putting off things so I don't have to be with people I'm not sure about or don't know............have fun - sorry bonkers day here - not caught up properly! x

And it was exactly what I hoped it would be except that I'm one of the young ones :rotfl:

No yee-haa, no checkered scarves around the neck - no partner dancing apart from one ten minute spot for a guest teacher at the very beginning. There are a lot of dances that nearly all of them know really well, and I got completely lost of course - but because the class is 3 hours long, there were plenty of people sitting out particular dances, and a few leaving early, it was very easy to just go for exactly what you wanted. There's an improvers class on Tuesday mornings, which I'll be able to get to with a bit of rejigging, and the teacher has promised to send me some links to study stuff - I've done all the individual steps before, but they're called different things, and put together in new ways, so I'm confuzzled. But its going to be great :j

Olive, I have two books liked that - Love is Letting Go of Fear and Fear, the Friend of Exceptional People but doing it was only possible with the support of you guys - instead of posting "I didn't make it" after the event, I posted "I want to go" two days *before* the event, and the support was brililant.

Weirdly, I have four mystery shops lined up next week - two to be done at once. And even more weirdly, I can walk to all of them!

Wow, I didn't realise mystery shopping would ever be "local", I always imagined it would be in the cities rather than in lil ole towns like the one you live in. Good for you! I might have to look into mystery shopping one day, I'm constructively critical (ok, I can be a beeyatch if I don't get good service, lol) so maybe it'll be a good sideline for me!

How's the trading coming along? Have you done any since getting your internet sorted?
