As for which tariff is best for you - have you spoken to Scottish Power and asked them? I am with E.on, and they are very good at telling you which of their rates would save you the most over the telephone.

We got our energy monitor free from our supplier, by the way - always worth asking!

I want a fox for a smiley......... I was out for my walk round the block just before it got dark, and saw a fox in a garden. I stood still, it stood still (behind a clump of flowers). I moved on, it slunk past, and then it realised how still I was standing, and eventually it came back for a look - it was old, grey chest and muzzle, so pretty sensible. It came to within three feet of me (with a low garden wall between us) and eventually it was grubbing for something it had found, so I moved on - it almost looked like I'd be able to stroke it, and when they're scared they snap for no reason, and I wasn't going to put us in that situation. And blow me if it didn't come out onto the pavement and start eating what it had found! I love that fox!
