Okay, back to the matter of actually earning a living, and paying off debts..... between the smileys and the fox, tho, that was exciting :)

Today........ erm, like yesterday, I'm spoiled for choice.
    - I have two hours paid work,
    - I *have* to wash my hair before I see anyone,
    - I want to go into town after the 2nd paid work (so about 3.30) to sign up to a dance class - its only a short series, six classes, but its better than not doing anything, my sister went to her first evening class night, I *have* to do something.
    - still can't find my digital camera - I've hunted out a freebie (so I can take a photo during a mystery shop) and must check it out - the m/shop I've got booked is a goodie, I *want* that work!
    - finish off sorting out the fuel. I'd have said oil and gas prices are going to rise over the winter...... if they do, I'm better on the rate I've got now. V puzzled.
    - free bingo, when I'm online!

Well thats good to know Shaun!

    My list:
    - just done first hour's work.

    - tearing my hair out trying to get into my virgin.net email address - I'm seriously thinking of changing it to a google one, it goes down *so* often.... and there's an email from abroad about work next week that I simply can't get to to answer. V frustrating.
EDIT: its just come back online: *two* work emails needed answering

    - fuel....... I *will* phone as per Hypno's recommendation, but unless they deffo recommend another account I'll stay where I am. Its 3% more expensive........ on my present payment of £67, that means I'd pay £65 - the cap more than makes up for that peace of mind. I know they might be bringing prices down too (tho I think thats *very* unlikely in the runup to winter, even in the recession) Actually, I just don't know, I've read what Martin's written on the main site, I've just confused myself. Ah well, an early lunch is ready, I'll think about it after that (just like Scarlett O'Hara :D)

    - done one slot of free bingo, should have done two :naughty:

  • Hey KC - Like hypno suggested I checked my own tariff online with my provider - they have a 'do you have the best tariff for you button' plonked in usage and postcode...........

...........so I did that and I am best on my own deal (they all just said 0% saving on all their other packages)
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:

HI KC..glad you had a lovely time with Wol.I also tend to agree that another pair of eyes looking over things can be a great eye opener.
That was a lovely story about the fox..it's lovely to see nature when out and about but a shame to see foxes in places like blackpool as all the open space is took up.

    - free bingo, when I'm online!not done as many as I should have but I've had a go.

Confession: I didn't do it ..... I think I'm in penalty if I change, not sure - I might leave it to check any further. It won't make any difference now _pale_ I don't quite know why I'm letting it go like that  I think its the effect confusion marketing has on me after a certain point :wall:

Would I rather have sorted the fuel fully and completely, or gone into town to sign on the evening class I wanted? The latter, which is what I did. So thats okay

    Plus I:
    - put a couple of bags of jumble in the charity shop, including those dark green curtains.
    - checked out at National Express whether I can get a v v cheap fun fare from my local National Express stop - turns out I can. Hey presto, £1 fares to London, here I come.
    - nicked some pens from Barclays, at 4 minutes to five....

    I'll survive.

Thanks for the help with the fuel, everyone, and Taxi, thanks for the foxy comment just above......

I'm chicken too about classes. But if my sister can do it, 6 months after her husband has died.... then I can do it. This class, by the way, is bellydancing - I just told my brother, he was with my mum when I rang her, and he said "but you have to have a belly in the first place". Isn't he sweet? :rotfl:
