He is sweet..lol..
That's what they were advertisng in the shop and I have loads of belly..lol0 -
Oooh KC ....I am looking forward to hearing what goes on at belly dance classes....Go you...........
Bleah to all the confussion over fuel tariffs.....it's precisely why I have stuck my head in the sand over it.
The only thing I did do (rather stupidly) was get the Economy 7 reconnected because some idiot disconnected it while my house was being refurbished......I'm sure I have no idea who might have done that although a certain building firm comes to mind
What I didn;t realise was that while you get a cheap night tariff (and the time window gets less and less every year - I think now it;s 1am til 5am or something stupid like that ....can you see me setting my alarm to get up in the middle of the night to go and switch on the washing machine or the dishwasher :rotfl: )....you pay a much higher rate during the day
So I too really DO need to sit down and try and wade through all the hype......especially now Ive got a year's worth of bills to work with. Suggest we swap notes :T
Oooh and foxes are lovely..one dug an earth in my garden a few years ago (by the eucalyptus tree, unfortunately killing a lovely mature ceanothus shrub in the process..).But please excuse your nephew and nieces if they don;t quite share in the pleasure of your face to face encounter....they prefer foxes at a distance thank you. :rotfl:
In the end I paid for a wildlife expert to visit and create an environment that would "encourage the fox to seek somewhere more suitable"......which worked.:T...though I thought I;d get a bit more for my money though than just a bottle of "Get off" sprinkled all round the area :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi Wol, hi Squirrel! Hello all else!
I'm glad someone else on here stuck their head in the sand about fuel bills..... if I'd even read the weekly email, I'd have switched - its just that in reading business news about gas prices, they've been so *low* for so long, they expect them to go up.......... I'm still not sure, but if I switched to that Energy Saver 7, at least I'd be in the same boat as everyone else on here. And now I think about it, the woman from Scottish Power said I'm paying "at least" 3% more on my present tariff, not "3%" more. Bit of a difference.
Boo hiss on the Economy 7, Wol - I'm going to try to ring them again today, and try to sort it out. Its become one of those "heartsink" things.........
Foxes! When I abandoned my garden earlier in the year (around the time I stopped my first diary on here) my neighbour told me there were some adolescent foxes living at the top of my garden - that was another reason for staying away. I'd seen the mum up there once, I wanted them to have somewhere safeand its a long way from the house......
I'm excited too about the dancing! Better than ballet for my toes....... but it doesn't start till 11th November, gives me a chance to practice some moves from that great freebie satellite channel, Body in Balance.............
Right. I've been up for ages....... a cuppa tea calls.
See you later

Love the smileys :j
Love the bellydancing :j:j
Don't blame you about the fuel I had a disaster with npower at Christmas only just returned to my original supplier a few weeks ago (although that meant I paid nothing for over 6 months whilst they sorted it out:eek:) so I am a bit behind on my bill but e.o.n. haven't put my DD up and have been very good so am hoping now the terrible teenagers (electricity wise :rotfl:) have left the house I will catch up and even be able to reduce the DD. - and I am staying put

:hello: I was feeling quite grumpy today - had to give myself some extra sleep, so couldn't get stuck in like I usually do. Then I found a mystery shop at London Bridge Rail has been deallocated from me, because I hadn't listed the date I was going to do it - I had, I always do it straight away, but my new computer mouse is playing up - so I've lost the 30minutes I spent yesterday printing the paperwork and making notes. And I had a cancellation of work on Wednesday, and a no-show yesterday, which lost me £100 of the good week I was expecting.
And then I saw Wol's post about Pebble, at gone 2am........... which really puts it all into perspective. Again. Poor little Pebble - but a very loved guinea pig, who had a good life. So I went off and had a little cry, for Pebble and Wol and my cats, and all the people I've lost in the last few years.
And today - well, its a busy one - off up to London, and I have a freebie ticket to a show at London Excel, so I'm going to go there for an hour or so. So I have to leave in about 40m, I better get myself in gear.
Have a good day all - I'll be fine once I get out into the sunshine... and it still is sunshiney down here, hope noone gets blown away by those gales..........2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Poor Pebble
Hugs to Wol and to you Karma for feeling sad. Hope you have a good day x
