:kisses3:Thank you Fay.
:kisses3:TAXI! Sweetie! I've only just come back online after yesterday morning, and here you are posting!
**KC rushes happily off to Taxi's thread to check out the news**2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning properly now! I've had a mooch around, just finished brekkie (so by the time I've finished typing this, it'll be time for another cuppa tea
)
Only stayed at Egyptology till half time, so to speak - I was a bit dizzy with tiredness, truth be told, so gave myself some leeway and came home early. I really want to have a day in Horsham tho, it looks a nice place. I will, when the intensity of the house move is done.
I've had some bad news over the last few days, and it was confirmed last night - I'm accompanying a very old friend/acquaintance to a local funeral, where he'll be speaking, there's no minister, and no one else speaking. I wasn't sure he wanted me to go, but turns out he really needs the support, so I'm there. Slightly weird after confessing how rubbish I am at maintaining friendships, but its him that keeps the connection once again. He's a good person, and his wife is a Scouser, so that makes him extra-good
I had a little cry when I found out about the woman who died. I know she was beautiful in so many ways, even though I didn't know her well. She was special.
Today, for me, is a quiet one, I need it even tho I *did* sleep well yesterday. Moving stuff around so I can do a *little* bit of cleaning and packing. Digging up part of the cornfield. Throwing away any rubbish I can. And I've resolutely put a whole load of pretty SF magazines into the recycling bin. Sigh.........2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
And I know 3 posts in a row from me looks bad - but I have *finally* reached 6000 points on maximiles (ipoints as was) and I can get my Asda vouchers. Hurray!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Life before the internet...................
How on earth was that?
What a truely marvelous invention and as you said previously SO green.
Confession here - I bought two books yesterday - complete impulse purchase. No cash back, no thought, just a 'ooooh thats a pretty window display', didn't check at the library either - lol.
I think I'm an 'information-a-holic'

I'm telling myself books are good insulation.
