I'm off to London soon, Shaun, but will look at your diary tonight when I get back - great to hear you're not doing domestic, another woo hoo! So you're a big businessman now? Have you looked at youtube for instructional videos on how to build a website? I saw a great one yesterday on how to construct a banner using Dre amwe aver - will pm you the link if you want (and send a copy of DW if you want).

You're a footy coach! And you're still going to send me the DVD copy, bless you - you know Michael Shanks appeared in 2 or 3 episodes of the first season of SG:U??? He got really well reviewed, happily.

Right, gotta go, closing down the lappie now - good to hear from you, hugs to you and the family.

    :kisses3::rudolf:Excellent! Thank you

The two channels I'm thinking of are this:
    http://www.youtube.com/user/2createawebsite
    and this:
    http://www.youtube.com/user/lisa3876
which is the same woman, and slightly less technical, but really interesting on modern marketing.
There's also a website my niece told me about:
www.lissaexplains.com, which is a site for kids originally, but it really is simple - and its *good* :)

Do you want me to send you the programme? pm me your postal addy if you do.

Yawn ... never got on here last night, the M25 suddenly became a car park, and just *stopped* - people were getting out of their cars and walking up and down at one point :( So I didn't get to bed till 1am, and I woke at 6, tho I made myself stay in bed till 7, but by then I was dying for a cup of tea :D and my head was whirring with the stuff I need to do.

I've basically realised quite how much there is in packing and cleaning the house :o even if I get packers, I've got to move as much stuff as possible around beforehand - I'll never cope with cleaning up the whole house as the packers and movers finish a room, I just don't work like that. So the plan over this weekend is to clear a good size space in the kitchen, and clean it, and then put the boxes from the bedroom in there, which means I can clean in there.

I'm off to Horsham for Egyptology today, just got a phone mystery shop to do this morning, and type up the blog drafts I wrote yesterday.

Yesterday was weird - I only had one hour paid work in London - but between going to the bank, buying nice-but-cheap birthday cards from Barnardo's, bit of supermarket shopping, eating lunch, finishing documentation and relaxing a bit, that was 5 hours gone, and it was time to work! Very odd. Still, I quite enjoyed it :D

  • Oh poor you with the traffic jam - I hope you have a nice day today.

Re packing I kind of did it in a similar but sort of different way (LOL sorry!!) - I used the one room I didn't use much, cleaned it first and then emptied the rest of the house into that room IYSWIM and cleaned rooms as I did it - which sort of sounds what you're going to do!

Lol its too early and I need more coffee!!

Hello - that's probably the only thing I can say coherently right now - I replied to that email you sent back ages ago - did you get it? Just wondered - didn't need a response but I wanted you to know that I'd replied and valued your comments!

Hi Fay - thats it absolutely on the packing, same system - clean a bit, and then chuck everything there :D The journey was horrible, but at least we were in a nice warm, clean car....

I did get your response, thank you :o:o:o you've come across the bane of my life - my slipshod attitude to communication. I'm really, really dreadful, friends have drifted away before now, and I think I've actually lost my oldest friend over it recently - I knew I should have contacted her before, but I just didn't, and then I was embarrassed to - and I just keep doing it, there's a dreadful disconnection inside my head about it :(.

I really do love that job you're going for, tho, it has everything. Thank you for the emails, and thanks for commenting again now

  • No worries - I'm exactly the same to be honest - that's why forums etc much better for me - instant - but I wanted to make sure I'd said Ta for the email and you'd not written in on deaf lugs :) now I don't have to worry you thought I was rude.

We'll see with the job - first time I've said OK , I think I'd be good at this, I think you're what I'm looking for, you can have me but if you want me then you'll have to wait a bit.

Seems a bit rude - but on the other hand I want to finish my current project :)

Think you have it right there cleaning one room first and putting the boxes in there...
Sounds like a nightmare stuck in traffic jam..
