I didn't go off quite then, after all
They are a lot of work for the money, but I didn't mind in this case - I wanted to go to that supermarket anyway (never been to that one before), and I needed a new map, and I popped in to a Focus on the way and looked at new internal doors and stuff - the only thing that spoiled it was the loooong wait for a bus to get back here - I was stood at a bus stop for 45 minutes in this heat  2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Yuck to standing in the heat..0

All useful money in the pot

All useful money in the pot

It certainly is
I especially like genuinely being able to claim the map to my new town on expenses
:D:D - I had to walk through a housing estate that wasn't built when my old map was printed  it would've been twice as long without the map.
Today - I've trashed a few confidential work diaries to put into the recycling. I've already been pottering about on my various dfw sites. I put a fiver into Vi r gin, and tho I've played a few bingo games, I'm actually having fun on the scratches - I can really see that if you *don't* have any money awareness, it could become really addictive, I'm sure the macro or whatever is programmed to give you just enough wins so that when you're starting, or if you reduce your stake, it gives you quite a few wins.
One Amazon sale, and four ebay sales - 2 ebay have paid already, so thats good - a bit more printing and checking things, including the paperwork for the phone/email mystery shops tomorrow, and I'm done on dfw work for today :cool:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Seems like you are having a good day..0

 KC
Sounds like you have had a busy few days!
We've all got summer snuffles here, but we did manage to get our living room/dining room rearranged to accomodate us both working from home, and have the dining table back up to eat and also for me to work on.
But in the typical ways of everything, my washer packed up . Got a decent deal on a new one, fitted and being used as we speak. At least I had the money to get it.0 -
Hi Taxi, hi all! I am, I'm having a nice day - I had a walk around the block - the sheep are gone, leaving behind lots of fertiliser and bits of wool too

 blimey Pippajo! Thats quite something - I've been chucking bits of old armchair into the bin, and pruning a few bits and bobs, but nothing like that - and you've got snuffles too
hope you're feeling better soon, and well done on the washer - mine's slowly dying, but keeping going at the mo ....... 2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

So pleased to hear the whole house buying/selling transactions are sorting themselves out and keeping fingers and paws crossed there will be no untoward "last minute" shennanigans

hi KC, we got the TV on the wall, rearranged a few things and the table which is oak came back out of being stored in bits and we ate tea at it last night which was lovely

The washing machine was a Beko 7kg, reduced from £300 to £219 in currys. I had honestly thought that my old machine was cold feed only, but when we pulled it out it was hot feed too from my little water tank. This new one is cold only A+A rated so should be a lot more economical. Just waiting for my free elec monitor from eon to find out!
Snuffles are yukky, not really ill but not right. DS is back at school today so should be able to get some work done!
Have a good day x0
