Was that Amazon or eBay? I've been thinking about trying a few Amazon sales, but never used it before - any tips?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

It was ebay, Squirrel - I've been selling bits on amazon for ages - I'm only using ebay for these because amazon won't recognise the bar codes.
Tips - take your time! And preview everything, and tick things off a list - I got very confused as to which sales I sent out and which I hadn't, because I got six ebay sales very close together, two to the same person, plus an amazon sale, my head was spinning :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well! Terrifying amount of absolute *junk* up there, and only two pieces of furniture belonging to the business partner
:rotfl:What was I thinking to let it get that crowded? For months, I've been decluttering this house, and I actually thought I had the house cracked - I've been doing the odd piece of paper here and there recently.
And now .... and now ..... I stopped it halfway through, there's just too much. This is what we've brought down so far:
- 2 pieces of partner's furniture
- magazine rack
- piece of wood
- corner display unit, oak
- dozens of polystyrene cups (it was an insulation project)
- cork noticeboard
- 5 bags insulation (they can certainly go to the new place)
- 2 duvets
- one mixed bag insulation (heat and sound)
- one pack pipe insulation
- mattress for sun lounger - the sun lounger is folded up in the garage
- guitar (had it since I was 12)
- tuner amp
- cushions for 3 piece suite (which is in the garage)
- manual typewriter
- oops, another duvet
- empty cardboard box - boy, I'm going to need it.
- antique-style umbrella stand, but the stand bit is rusted through
- material.
- and more material
**what was I thinking**
And there's as much again up there:o:p:o:p

:rotfl: Sorry but that list really made me laugh! It's all sort of useful stuff though, I guess.
Thanks for the selling tips, I used to do quite a bit on eBay and know what you mean about the confusion!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
It makes me laugh looking at it too. But really, what was I thinking? Why are 3 duvets up in the loft? I wouldn't guarantee there aren't more up there too - there's certainly two underbag storage things of clothes - and I know one of them has a mini skirt in there from when I was about 17 - and thats a very long time ago for me!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Ooh gone on put the mini skirt on - you know you want to:rotfl::rotfl:

It seriously wouldn't fit :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Hypno called me a skinny minny on your thread the other day - when I wore that mini skirt, I was 8.5 stone, at 5' 7":eek::eek:2023: the year I get to buy a car0
