DTxxThanks everyone for hugs/well wishes xxx
Have you tried to withdraw yet?Morning KC, from other posts I've seen they have set the limits of everyone who was "abusing" the system to £0 so they cant withdraw the free money.
I think it was benben who won but I know she had deposited the £5 she had played with. Try withdrawing and see what happens. I think to carry on you have to deposit £5 per month and play the free money. You should be able to get the £65 out as you won it by playing the free money as their email advised me to do.
If not then you could gamble on depositing £5 and then play through the winnings and see what happens.
Thanks all! I did try to withdraw yesterday - just £50 of it - and the page said "you have exceeded your withdrawal limit by £50" :rotfl:I remember Benben writing that - I should've done it that week, maybe, but it seemed a bit late to be doing it. Maybe I should just abandon it - nice to think I finally won something, but actually I've had maybe a couple of hundred pounds off them on their own, let alone the other scratches - thats not bad! I can't quite decide - but leaving it alone at least looks a bit more realistic, in spite of my withdrawal attempts yesterday....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
It would be a shame about the winnings - nothing to lose though by sending an email or having a chat with them?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Well, thats true - its just, I'd feel like such a grasping cow if I contacted them - its entirely about me, that - I'd applaud it if anyone else were to do it, but I just feel so *bad* underneath it all, about needing to do this sort of stuff - thats why a diary is so essential to me, to cope with doing this stuff.
Okay. I'll deposit a fiver, play it through over a few days, and try to withdraw. Lets see where that gets me. I'll think about the next bit if that doesn't work.
Other than that, I've got a list of 17 items to do today - a couple are nice, like emailing my business partner (and "stopping poisoning myself" - too much wheat over the past few days, I have a headache) but most are horrible - phoning the council about retrospective building regs approval, telling my solicitor how few of the fitted appliances in my kitchen actually work, that sort of thing. Sigh .... ah well, I have two hours paid work, and I *will* sit out in the sun after that for a bit - even if there's no sun

Take it easy and don't stress too much. Maybe the new buyers will be bringing their own white goods anyway so don't worry yourself about what works and what doesn't.
Enjoy a bit of sunshine. We started on the back garden yesterday - I'm afraid we have dreaded conifers that have got out of hand - I think we took over 6 feet off 3 of them in an hour yesterday so they are back to about 6ft high, just another 60 or so feet of them still to go

Thanks Pippajo - you're right, you're right. I know its not going to collapse the sale, tho they may use it to claw back some of their offer price. But the sick feeling when I thought the sale might collapse tells its own story - its worth another £1k to get out of here

Thats good work! I'm slogging on with mine - today in the garden is about getting rid of the rubbish, since I've now *twice* been asked to confirm that I'll get rid of all rubbish from the premises.ahh that is a good idea to try kc ... i thought to myself oh well if i aint getting it i will just fritter the money away ... won £26 arrrggghhhhh ... so now i have £36 in my account its annoying me no end lol
Oh El, you've done it too! Can you do whats been suggested to me, depositing some of your own and playing through?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Helllooo.. I think if you give the solicitor an idea of the state of the white goods, they'll let you know the best way to go from there. When Mr S bought his house they were supposed to be leaving all the white goods and most of the furniture but turned out the solicitor hadn't sorted out the agreed list so half the things he was expecting weren't there - he queried it with solicitor but at the end of the day there was nothing he or they could do about it.. and he managed to get most of the bits free or cheap from friends or eBay... so see what the solicitors say, but I'm guessing the buyers aren't expecting sparkly new goods if they've seen what's there.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

 I'm sure they're not! But cooker hood, one oven (of two) and the integrated fridge (there's another one) don't work at all, and the washing machine doesn't spin very well....
I think you're right about telling my solicitor - in fact, its no. 15 on the list

I feel like an idiot - I've been absolutely dreading phoning the Building Control people - I never got finished approval for the porch, and the windows I had done locally never even got it all started, and I've just spoken to a really pleasant admin. woman and an absolutely lovely building control office, and he's coming round tomorrow *morning*!!! And all very easy about approval and whatnot. I could kick myself for letting this go so long, when the solution was so easy.
And I sold a gardening book on ebay! As I posted on Fay's thread, my first ever ebay sale!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
