And the link does answer the question, in the About Us section, hurray!

I spoke to my vendor yesterday, we both know the EA of his that we like, so all is well there - we're both just going to ignore the other one.

I'm just crunching some figures about what money I have, its not looking too bad, but this morning, [strike]I'm just going to take care of things and make sure the house is okay for the weekend, I really feel distracted and tired out by the drilling noise.[/strike]

We crossposted **waves** I've struck my comments, I'm feeling sorry for myself :eek::eek:

Morning all :hello: Re seeds, I must admit I don't always buy organic seeds (especially as I get quite a few freebies so can't be too fussy), but do always grow organically. I love this site - http://www.realseeds.co.uk/ - for interesting vegetables, and good tips on seed saving.

Good news that you've agreed on the Estate Agent :)

    Thanks Fay :kisses3:

    Thanks Squizz :kisses3:

Thats a great site! I just looked under aubergines for DT, and it has monthly charts for what to do when - that seriously is brilliant. It also means you don't need to clutter the house with too many books, because the info. is online these days - I can still carry on decluttering, hurray! I've always had such minority interests, its been essential to buy, very often, but no more - I have a peer group! Hurray :j:j:j

It is good having that info there - they also send really good instructions with the seeds. Must admit I do like having a few gardening books around though (also must admit I was checking something in Alan Titchmarsh's book last night in the garden and got soil all over his face on the cover, sorry Alan :o)

I'm trying aubergines for the first time this year, they are looking really good, big leaves etc, but whether we get actual fruit remains to be seen!

Ooh and my other favourite gardening website is http://www.fennelandfern.co.uk/ - beautiful photos, great instructions and ideas, and other people's gardens to lust over!

Fay and Sqizz....thanks that was the catalogue I ordered the other day and I like their big packs of plugs that are available and was thinking of getting those first followed by seeds next year.
The question arose because somebody said that all seed is organic before it is grown and because seed comes from the original plant it would have to come from an organic plant in the first place surely to be an organic seed...in my opinion ...thanks for answering that as you think what I was thinking.
Sorry about the questions as I'm new to gardening.

Karma...sorry to hear that you didn't sleep too well last night and hope it doesn't intefere too much with todays work.

Glad I asked the question now as you are all very knowledgeable on the subject.
You are right about not needing the amount of books as was needed before due to the vast about of information on the internet.
I just typed in "how to grow potatoes in a dustbin" and got loads of links with photos and videos...it's amazing and all in a few seconds.

Nothing wrong with asking lots of questions Taxi - I'm constantly looking online or phoning my mum up about gardening stuff!

Another excellent site Squizz, thanks - and its reminded me of another plant in my garden (it *should* be hard to forget, lol) there's a fennel I planted years ago, which is now sending out seeds - I should get one of the little ones and pot it up to take with me, you can eat the fronds, so it keeps on giving, thats right, isn't it? :j

Tired today again, less than 6 hours sleep - but I was home from London unexpectedly early, between my partner and me, sessions were changed around and cancelled and whatnot, so I was actually home just after 9.30pm, which was fantastic! Pitiful net income from the whole trip, tho, really bad. I did get to catch up on some paperwork, and I managed not to fall asleep in the car this time, but still...

Anyway, today I want to finish off the house paperwork for my solicitor, and get it off in the post today, which is part of the reason I didn't try to go back to sleep *again* when I woke up for the fourth time at 5.30.... and try to check with my mortgage provider about getting a survey done on the house I want to buy.... :p

For the rest - trip into town, because I'll probably take finishing the form down to the wire.... I desperately need a cheap summer set of jeans and light sweatshirt (Millletts?)... a little walk along the seafront would be lovely ... there's a very sad phone call I need to make today, about someone who passed away recently .... and start to prepare the house for the surveyor coming round on Monday, on behalf of my buyers
