Thanks ISOM! Yep, I'm very pleased about it :) It still feels a bit of a cheat, because it was gifted to me, but after all, money is money, and I'm not having to shell out on debt any more

El, you're lolling about having one done, or you're the one in charge? after a night shift, anyway  that displays an alarming amount of energy :rotfl:

I don't feel very energised today, to be honest - yesterday was a real mixed up day - not only cutting down what I look at at the trading (which could work really well, I've been experimenting today) but also noise from next door's building works really disturbing me and the work I do, *and* I finished work late as usual on that day, so really not brill. Its hard to concentrate on anything this morning, so I've just been doing fiddly bits - scratches, banks, emails, old ebay stuff (that towel rail that had a watcher didn't sell, boo hiss), gmtv comps that are free to enter.

Now ... I have to do the mortgage application. I'm holding off on completing the stuff for my conveyancers - I've written to the people I'm buying from, asking exactly *who* they think their estate agents are - the firm thats butting in has a lot of detail about me, including who my conveyancers are, and they're asking me for my passport etc, which no other estate agent has. My distrust of them is growing in leaps and bounds. If they do *have* to have my passport, I'll take it up there and refuse to leave it with them, I'll stay there while they do what they need to do.

Hi Duchy! Thank you! And yes, thats true, actually, you're right. I'll stop thinking of myself as a faker :o

I'm moving up from the south coast a bit nearer to London again - Haywards Heath. This is the house I've had an offer accepted on
