Yep, it was the right decision to go ahead - that other house, the EA never rang back, I never heard a dickie bird - I'd have been gutted at not being able to tie things up....2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Woohoo, go KC, go KC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does the new house have a chain on it - I take it this is the semi next to the dogs?0 -
Thanks pippajo - thats right, the one next to the dogs. I don't know if they have a chain or not, tbh - last Friday, the householder said they didn't have a place in mind, but had people they could stay with if need be; then yesterday, the EA said to buy the new place they wanted, they needed £220k. Frankly, I'd made one offer, I didn't want to make two, so I went for it. I think there's a lot of estate-agent-speak going on.... bound to be, really, I'll just keep my head down and do what feels right for me.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Definately, all the EAgents are thinking about is the commision. You offered what you are happy with and they accepted and can get what they want. Plus you are buying for less than you are selling and ending up with a place that will not tax or tire you, so you can enjoy life more
Definately sounds the "right move" ((((((tiptoes away quietly!!!))))))))))):whistle:0 -
Definitely the right move if it feels right! And the numbers look good as well, so plenty in the budget left over too :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

This fb thing is good, by the way - just been reading about one of my nephews I don't have much communication with, and just linked up with a cousin from Zimbabwe, now living in Australia :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I'm just rediscovering it - first time round, I felt bad because I wasn't doing lots of realtime chats and posting lots myself - realised after chatting on here, I don't need to do stuff I don't want to
I'm a bit slow sometimes :rotfl:
Been listing on ebay - 11 items listed today, now up to 31 - all on the 99p magazines, except for one book, so no watchers or anything. If they sell, they sell.
And other news: I did a trade! I only lasted about 3 minutes, and some of that was because I was futzing around with getting the right window (note to self: do not pop windows out of the trading screen). And I made a profit of 2, i.e. £2 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It *did* keep going my way tho, to a profit of 13. Slowly slowly, I think, for me!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
