Yep, thats definitely true - and I keep too much of it too. I was just looking in that green website file, and there's the Ideal Home exhibition brochure from 2007 in there - thankfully, that could go out straight away!

Ooh, the forum is closing in less than half an hour! Well, I'm not doing much dfw work today anyway - off to London at midday, for work, and will get back at my normal 11pm, barring funny business on the M25.

This morning - normal scratches, tidying so that if a prospective buyer *does* want to come round, they can. I'm a bit annoyed with myself, I feel like I wasted yesterday afternoon a bit, but there again I did so much on Wednesday ... can't work at that pace full time.

Thats it really - hope everyone has a good day.

Morning ... in an out here.... decluttering will be helped a little bit today (only in relation to the house move) as some of the soft furnishings in the therapy room will be moving to a new home to help out my partner (they're actually his - he's got mine - none of it is being used daily, and the stuff he's got of mine is *loads* bigger, so I'm happy the way things are :) ).

Otherwise - do some genealogy work for my sister, using free ancestry.com membership at the local library; Egyptology; keeping this place tidy in case of viewings; and the only dfw thing I'll be doing is printing out my Virgin Media bills, as I'm paperless and need them for the accounts.

Hope everyone has a good day.

What a day in the end! Just after I posted the above, the estate agent told me the woman I'd shown round the house on Monday wanted to come for a 2nd viewing, bringing her husband! Hurray! Then I went to the ancestry stuff, and was **really** annoyed with myself - I made an elementary mistake about who to start researching, and wasted 40 minutes. Managed to start again, in the right place this time, then off to Egyptology - Hatsheput, one of the very few women pharoahs. Good for her.

Then my phone call to my mum. And, um, something she's been cooking up has come to fruition. My brother asked her for a loan to do some house alterations, and, long story short, she wants to give me the same. And I have the cheque. So, in the next couple of weeks, I'm going to be debt free - apart from the two mortgages, of course. This is very odd.

She told me about it a little while ago. Funny how things turn.... so now, the issue is, I need a second career, that can operate in tandem with the counselling - I've expanded the possible list by looking at Martin's article on the main site. I'll be working on that over the next couple of weeks.

    Thanks Z!

Possible jobs - some might be a couple of hours a month, some might be seasonal, a few are paid jobs, most are self employment - you can see how focussed I am :D

    - counselling supervision (supervising other counsellors)
    - NVQ assessment
    - part time admin work
    - computer support (eg Teletech)
    - virtual assistant
    - bookseller
    - writing
    - a green website I have an idea for (I know, I know, but still....)
    - trading/spreadbetting
    - pet/plantsitting
    - interviewer
    - monitoring exams, vote counting.

I favour the spreadbetting, the website, the virtual assistant and the counselling supervision. Plus the pet- and plant-sitting for cheap holidays. Of course, when I'm a millionaire, I'll still do that, y'know.............

And thanks, Taxi and Hypno! I do feel a bit odd about it, as you might sense, because its not from *my* work. But it *is* debt free. And now I'm going to use it as a springboard to take off again - that debt is so tiny compared to so many people on here, but cos my income was sinking and my outgoings soaring cos of the French commitment, I never got straight. And now, with the accurate budget as well, I feel like I have a real chance of turning the corner again.

I think Bookie got out of that one because the conditions with Amazon etc were so poor.

    That's very seasonable work.

The NVQ person is a good idea. There are now 2.65M "unemployed" people in this country now, with 10.8M "economically inactive" - plenty for you to get your teeth into.
