Ooh, that kitkat was lovely! I was busy yesterday, but only in bursts still - I'm still coughing, my side still hurts when I move, I'm still very tired (tho I slept really well for me last night - almost 7 hours).

:rotfl: thats a good idea, why didn't I think of that? Maybe it would eke out the pesto? :rotfl:

Okay, I'm giving in! Not going to go into town today, I feel really tired - but I will still pop out to the local post office once it opens again, I've got quite a few things to post off.

I've also finally found some CD sleeves - on amazon, believe it or not. The paper cd origami thingies are a lot of fun, but I can get 100 plastic CD sleeves with envelope flap for £2.13, and they're well reviewed. Thats the same sort of price pro rata that I found the 1000 for - but its in the quantity I want, and when I can find them at that price, really, life's too short for functional origami!

    - check to see whether Taxi slept at all last night. she hadn't posted still, last I checked - good as far as it goes.
    - since there's no garden work can be done, collect some branches already lying about, put in skip.
    - do gmtv comp done
    - do washing up (oops) done a good portion
    - go to the bank no, but at least I'll write out the paying in slip, so I can just get up and go tomorrow.
    - get my hair cut
    - buy some pesto (and cotton wool).
    - play with the papercd thing some more :)I have, and decided life's too short, I've just ordered cheapo plastic sleeves from amazon

I still want to go into town tomorrow, so I'll do the town stuff then, after not having been on here for most of the morning :D

    Baby steps.

Oops I hope the dancing on my thread didn't tire you out! :)

Pesto and cotton wool is an odd combination :rotfl:

I enjoyed the dancing! But the thought of dipping cotton wool in pesto makes my mouth cringe _pale_

Hi KC..great find on CD sleeves and tmost £1 shops sell them.
Sorry you are tired today..but you have done a fair bit this week ..perhaps you need to rest a little.
LOL...had to laugh at you thinking about whether I slept or not...how nice of you to think of me....I didn't get to sleep until after 7am this morning and got up at 1pm..I feel as though I'm living life back to front.
  • Goodness - you are getting back to being more "yourself" aren't you! Glad you're finally getting properly on the mend KC - just make sure you won't push it too far, too fast.

 I'm really, really wary of pushing, as you say, EH - one reason I felt so tired today is that I forgot to have any drinks in the late morning (tea!!!!) so I was coughing and coughing in the end. I did post all my letters tho (including some empty cartridges to Tatco) and after coming back from that, I did manage one armful of branches down to the skip - not bad, but I didn't feel I should do any more. With the number of steps up and down, thats quite enough.... its about 30, all told

Taxi, I have some plastic type sleeves from a poundland shop, but they don't cover the whole CD, and from experience thats just not good enough. I need the type of sleeve that completely covers the disc *and* has a foldover bit, an envelope bit. Thats why I'm so pleased with these, that look like they do exactly that, for a reasonable price :j

Boy, your sleeping really *is* upside down, isn't it - thats a problem, I hope you can get it back on track soon - and as for thinking of you - of course! :)

I will be careful tomorrow, EH - in fact, I don't think I'll come onto the computer until I've got back from town, that means I'll be getting out during the time of day when I've got most energy, the morning. I hope you're doing okay.
