    I don't know what's got into me........

I just paid my tv licence (with all the illness I've had, and the upheaval-to-be of the move, I didn't want to faff around remembering to only watch tv on the computer).

I've sent off for a freebie from Littlewoods, hopefully it'll be something more than their usual £15 - but no loss if it isn't.

I've activated my new debit card.

I've rejoined an association I should (but don't have to) belong to for work, based in the US.

I've started to frighten myself :rotfl:

Thanks Bob! I do feel back, actually, but in a different way, a much more positive way - much less submerged in the house, much more aware, which feels great. Since my time is finite (and I wrote "if" at first :) ) I'd better make the best of it, which means a lot more than "work hard". At the same time that the house is a more pleasant environment (even if it does need a total renovation) it becomes a place from which its easier to step out into the world.

Wowee.... well, that was different from what I imagined. The branch took about 90 seconds - its been there for about 8 months, so is kind of rotten, it was ready to go. The brambles I had to hack at to reach it were another story :o_pale_ at least half a dozen had grown across the path and taken root in another patch of ground entirely, it would definitely be a safety issue for anyone who came to view and got to that bit - which is only about halfway down the garden :o trouble is, it isn't just these months that I've been ill - after the bereavement last April, I kind of abandoned the garden, I didn't have the heart or the time. I'm *really* looking forward to having a courtyard garden :j

Off now - I've decided to get some chocolate as a reward :D bother to the healthy eating :D

Thanks Taxi! The being down is part of these long term viruses - if it had gone on much longer, I really think it would've started to fit the description of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, so I'm very happy I don't have to go *there*.

I'm not going to do much physical stuff today - because of the other reason for wanting a courtyard garden - my fingers are seizing up, they don't really want to bend properly. Arthritis, dontcha know.... :( So the plan today is:

    - check to see whether Taxi slept at all last night.
    - since there's no garden work can be done, collect some branches already lying about, put in skip.
    - do gmtv comp
    - do washing up (oops)
    - go to the bank
    - get my hair cut
    - buy some pesto (and cotton wool).
    - play with the papercd thing some more :)

Thats good. I might even have a celebratory drink this evening!

Very good thanks Karma, having a couple of weeks holliers now to get over the three weeks of recuperation:D
Lots of walking and doing jobs on Vera to get her ready for a busy Summer.
Looking at your last list, I'm not sure that pesto goes with cotton wool ....not even in a Heston Bloomin' Eck recipe!
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D
