am going to do my sister a little box of essentials (well all my leftover stuff!)

She is due end of November so I thought I'd send her things like the spare pack of disposable knickers, the calcium, some RLT (i bought way too much!) and other bits that might help her - she is a bit skint atm so trying to think what else I have
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Last post from Elle at 12.46am, does this mean she maybe got a little sleep?

Six hours, followed by another three in fact :D Slight breakdown and outburst of tears followed by dramatic pulling a blanket over my head late last night (I can laugh and feel :o about it now!) seemed to rally OH into action and he did everything last night... He's awesome is my OH ;)
.. No idea. He's struggling off the Cpap again right now, which is sad (I would say depressing but scared to use that word!) as we'd like to see him make progress every day. I'm presuming that he has to be coping with breathing unaided before I can even suggest trying B/F.

*hugs* Tigs xxx I know a baby (born at 27wks) who went home on oxygen (you know, the little tube with the prongs up their nose) and has been breastfed for quite a while before coming home too. They just used to give him a try whenever they could (rarely to begin with) and one day he just latched on and went from there :)

*hugs* to Weelz and anyone else who needs them xxx

I might have a moses she could have (poss no covers though) it's my friends but she keeps saying she doesn't want it back and I wouldn't feel right selling it

I know you didn't intend it this way Tine, but I think I need to withdraw from that debate. I feel too vulnerable and sensitive right now to feel that any of my parent club friends feels I am not giving my new baby the best start.

I felt very tearful when I read that, and feel, on reflection that I shouldn't discuss it if I am vulnerable to the response. You spoke about your pregnancy being hard, so I hope you will be able to understand my need to look after myself and my feelings a little. Sorry.

((hugs)) for Weezl. I won't say any more on the subject, apart from I know you are a wonderful Mummy, and you aren't someone to go into this blindly. and you know your body. You are doing nothing wrong.

it makes total sence :) I wonder how the hormones of BFing affect pregnancy; if they make sickness more or less likely?
I feel guilty all the time about not 'doing better' for Chris and then I also feel that I should have done the same with Ed :o I feel like I'm playing favourites :undecided

I wonder about having more than one. I know my Mum feels guilty that I got more toys than my brother, but he got more attention. I think if you do the best yoiu can in each circumstance, it all balances out. You can't do everything equally.

Glam, you seem a lot ahppier today :) Keep it up chick :)

Elle, so glad you got some sleep. You have seemed very stressed the last couple of days :)

Tara, pop in as ofter as you can, even if it is just to scream !!

I am photographing all of my ebay listings this morning and will spend a couple of hours tomorrow putting them all on. Although if anyone wants a spare hand pump (avent one) fairies can deliver, it was only used for the 11 days when Dylan was in hospital :)

Aw thanks :A but she has just got one off Freecycle.
She came up on Sunday with my Dad and I gave her a spare bouncy chair, a changing unit (both duplicates I bought at car boot) and a ton of clothes I managed to get for her off Freecycle.

Glam, breast pads? Lanisol or kamillosan ointments? Your spare calcium, arnica, brufen gel (if you used the last 2). Thermacare heat wraps were lovely on the small of my back for a few days after, she might like some of those, they are like a lightweight strap on hot water bottle that give warmth for 8 lovely hours :)

    * off to look for Glam's birth story*
