Oh, meant to say, keely, I walked on my first birthday and hadn't done much before then to make my parent think it was imminent. Just surprised everyone by getting up and following my mum into the kitchen while she was making my birthday tea - she nearly dropped my cake in shock!
My mom just told me before i started walking, i would stand on my swing not scared or anything.... if Elliot did that i'd be petrified he'd fall!
He's left a load of teeth marks on his cot, apparently i did this too lol.
My cat who lives at my parents house, has a bean bag....well Elliot thinks its comfy aswell. He ends up covered in cat hairs, and Thomas isn't too impressed at sharing his bean bag!Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0 -
Does anyone else's docs shut for a silly amount of time over lunch? Mine is closed 12pm to 2pm every day.. Can they not have their lunches in shifts like everyone else has to? What about the people who can only nip in to collect a prescription or see a doc in their lunch break?
GP has agreed to renew my prescription without having to go see him which is nice though0 -

We used to turn the phones over to a message between 1pm and 2pm but the doors were open if people needed access. It depends on the PCT - Wigan PCT just recently changed their policy so just before I went on Mat Leave (to the disgust of all my staff) I told them they had to cover the phones from 8am to 6.30pm. When they started moaning about their lunches being cut from an hour to 20mins (they should have had 20mins but always took the !!!! and did nothing for the hour) I found great delight in telling them that actually the weren't entitled to a break at all cos they all worked 6hrs or less so the phones didn't need to be switched over :rotfl: (evil?! me?! never!!)

Does anyone know if there are any laws pertaining to the shooting of an air rifle in your back garden?
MM, aren't there any painkillers the Dr can give you? A girl I went to school with used to take a week off every month and the Dr used to give her these tiny white tablets to take, she'd take about 4 at a time...
Weezl, everybody has a different pregnancy experience, personally I felt pretty crap from conception to delivery and for a few weeks after and that's what puts me off having any more... But if you were well through your pregnancy and birth and you are happy to do it again then that is wonderful, don't let anybody tell you differently(there's less than 12 months between my older brother and sister and my Mum was 17 when they were both born!) Also... Would you like some breast milk?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I walked at nine months - my parents and a couple they knew had gone to Pontons together with chalets next door to each other. They'd put me on the floor to crawl around while they were bringing in the luggage and once they'd finished were standing around having cups of tea. The male half of the other couple said, Umm, is she supposed to be able to do that? and I was up and walking and disappearing out the door.
I've lived in eight cities in four countries - my mother said my early tendencies towards escapism were just an early indication of things to comeOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
