OMG, I've just looked through those bags of clothes we were given.. No exageration, there must be £400+ worth of clothes there! Sooo many things from Next, plus Tesco, Asda, Mini Mode and others, in every size up to 12months :D There are complete outfits, sleepsuits, vests, socks, even three sleeping bags and four coats. I'm going to feel guilty for any bit of shopping I do now :o

Hypno - LOs 6 week hungry phase lasted about 2 days, but that was from the time I increased his EBM. It took me 4 days for my production to catch up with him. It does get much easier. My advice is to get important jobs done early in the day then relax with a nursing cushion, get the remote and spend the evening on the sofa. The rest is good for you!
Hi feelie, how are you diddlydoing?

ooh I'm gonna put THESE on Chris's family Christmas/Birthday list - how cute!!

Squishy, I'd look up Glam's eviction plan, I hope I don't worry you by saying this but are you in agreement with them that bubs is definitely head down? and are you sure of your dates?
If you want to avoid induction you can refuse it but would probably be asked to go to the hospital at least every other day for a scan to check your placenta and amount of waters. Here's a link to help you out Natural Induction Methods

    Hello all,

could I ask for some advice again please? I've been to see the midwife this morning (I'm 40+1) and bubs has still not started to engage - she thinks maybe the little one needs to flex their head down, and has advised using a gym ball which I have already been doing. Also had an exam and showing as unfavourable for labour. They're already thinking of maybe booking induction at appointment next week (for as late as possible, which would be another 13 days from today).

Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to get the little one moving? If you don't want to take up space on the main thread please PM me - I'd really appreciate it if anyone has any ideas. :)
If I'm being totally honest IMO I think bubs just come when they are ready, I had loads of curry, sex etc but I dont actually know if it was that that set him off, I reckon he just needed more space!

I've just posted on the Weight shifting club and changed my sig.

I finally got on the Wii, recovered from my shock  and did a half hour workout.

I'm not blaming baby weight because I was 5lb lighter in June.

BTW - Baby weighs 20lb at 32 weeks old.

Oh, and, there is even a 3-6mth size version of the Tiny Baby babygro I "gypsyed" from the hospital because it was so cute! I was so gutted when Rhys grew out of it but now we have a bigger version too! :D :j (sad, moi?)

No more explosive poops but he's been asleep since the last one. Took lots of cuddles, but now he's fast off. Maybe it's just his jabs from yesterday.. As my mum pointed out, he's a lot smaller than most 18wk olds so there's less of his body to deal with the jabs :(

Thanks sami - I'd agree with them that bubs is head down: has been for months now actually, and showing as such at the last scan so not so worried about that, they do think she is 'at brim', just needs to move more!
