how do you make eggy bread  i had it when i was little and loved it! whisk egg in flat dish add a touch of cream/milk if you fancy, dip bread in let soak for a few second, turn over and let soak for few seconds, fry in pan - et voila!
i thoroughly reccommend medicine dummies!! you fill the end up with calpol or whatever and then they suck the meds out. amazing thing, whoever actually invented them needs a medal!! Ed doesn't 'do' dummies

do you think i should take seth to the doctor? he's had a cough for a few days, doesnt seem terrible in itself just a little chesty, but i'm a bit concerned cos theres history of athsma and bronchitis in both mine and OHs parents? would i be wasting precious  nhs resources if i took him?
you can but doubt they'd do anything
i have a roast in the oven :j my first roast i've ever cooked completely on my own :rotfl: oh dear!!
ooh good luck! I still have trouble getting all the bits to be ready at the same time

Fingers crossed! :p works for me! that is if it happens in time

In all honesty, would be amaaaaazing for me if it came in soon, as OH doesn't work and therefore no maternity pay. I can see that it is probably not great for a lot of mums though
    .
could you afford the drop in pay?! With me not working it was a struggle the month OH had his 2 weeks off

Oh, no, not the whole 6 months; but it would give us some flexibility.

    Oh my.

I have a friend (Very Best Friend) flying in this weekend. I have been talking about it for weeks, and am extremely - EXTREMELY - excited.

Husband has invited two of his friends to stay with us, in our one-bed apartment, this weekend. I've never met these friends. VBF barely knows Husband.

Add our attention seeking !!!!!! cat and the small and noisy baby to the mix and what we have here is a pickle.

I think we're going to put the brother and sister team on the sofa, which can be rearranged to make the equivalent of a double bed, and put VBF either in our bed or on an air mattress in the dining room or the office. Office would be more sensible and has a door she can close, but Husband comments that "this is where he brings the monster when she won't settle". I think he can sit with her in the dining room for the one night it all overlaps.
