No silly! I ordered them, and the fairies must have sent the confirmation to your email by accident. If you just hand the actual tickets back to the fairies, they can bring them back to me!
Nice to see you Mel (sort of!).
Glad uni went well! As usual MFD is talking sense - send them again later in the week, and turn up to collect a little early!
I'm sure they'll be fine - [STRIKE]he's[/STRIKE] they're bound to miss you, especially on their first time!
Hellooooo
Uni was great, but full of ickle kiddies:rotfl: I felt ancient:o
I know I am being a bit harsh as it is only the first time......I suppose I am just a bit wary of anyone who lies to me when it comes to my kids. I would have preferred her to say, "yes, he did scream his head off but I am certain he will be fine after coming a few times" etc etc

Just about!! It is tiring stuff this holidaying with babies lark!!! Where have you been hiding for the weekend? (hope I didn't skip over that bit - I am trying to catch up with my ironing at the same time!)redmel1621 wrote: »I thought that, although while I say they were bored!! That is what they said, but they were in the garden the majority of the time playing football with the childminders eldest son (13) I just know that Kai doesn't really scream, he is too laid back and happy! I am sure it is just the settling-in period that will be fairly hard and all will be fine once they have been going a little while....
I was thinking of handing Kai over for a couple of hours on Thursday actually possibly send him over at about 1pm, and getting her to collect the other two from school but only leaving them all there till about 4.30pm. I will definitely do this.

Benjamin is not a cryer either. But MIL had him on Thursday and she says he spent a good 15 minutes crying when he realised that both me and hubby had left him
My MIL would tell you that he cries when he is hungry, when he has a dirty nappy, when he is bored, tired and when he has just woken up. With me he barely cries at all - certainly not every day (not with tears at least!). I know that Benjamin is not unhappy with her and they get lots of giggles and cuddles too...she just doesn't respond to him the way I do...but nobody ever will (I would be very sad if I thought anyone else could work him out the way I can)
I think babies who are used to their mommies knowing what they want can get a little frustrated with people who don't react correctly/quickly enough.
I bet he was pleased to see you though - Benjamin always ignores me when I return :rotfl:
Edit - Sorry my point above was that MIL will tell you that he cries when he wants something but would still say he has been good and hasn't really moaned...she classes really crying as when it seems to be for nothing in particular.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Hugs for the boys Sami - i hope the fairies come in the night and take all their coughs and snots away!
Where is everyone tonight?
The one night i'm free to sit on my big bottom and gossip - everyone is off doing something more interesting!
Instead of sitting on my big bottom, i suppose I could have got the wii fit out! Oh well, i'll start tomorrow! I need to be back down to a 10 by January.:beer:0 -

But you see, at least she TOLD you that he had been crying when you left.....
I did say to dh last night that she best not be too good with him, he might prefer her over me;) I suppose there is just no pleasing me:o
On the plus side, she actually gives the older ones dinner they had hotdogs and waffles (as well as ice-cream and biscuits), so weren't hungry when they came home and just wanted supper, as usual, before bedtime.

It's very quiet here the dog is still at my friends house, she kept him an extra nite so I could unpack and get things sorted. I miss my wee boy tho...Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070
