    I'm confused - it happens a lot! :o

I was looking at info on our register office site, direct.gov and Gretna.

They all say they perform Marriage ceremonies or Civil Partnerships. The difference being that the Civil Partnership has no religious content. But everything about Civil Partnerships I can find mentions same sex couples!

MM i'm off to search Civil Ceremonies! Was yours in a reg. office?

    hello all,

i've had a poorly baby last night and today :-(

just reading back to catch up.

3 - I got married at Gretna and it was performed by a Registrar, no religious content and I an assure you my husband is a man :rotfl:

We then went up to the Anvil and renewed our vows over the blacksmiths anvil in line wiht the original practice of marrying in gretna

    xx
  • 3 We got married in a hotel by a registrar and we did not have any religiousness (not a word I don't think but I'll use it) in it.

3 - I missed the Gretna discussion, but we got married there. If you want any help, feel free to PM me.
Here I go again on my own....
  • Right bottles made, and cooling in sink for dh to stick in the fridge.

Off to bed, I will ring the Childminder and tell her to expect the boys on Thursday...

The car needs to go in the garage in the morning, just for a little job...something to do with a leaky seal but it's only a small job apparantly so I am hoping it will be out the same day!

I will check in tomorrow as I am not doing anything...haha! famous last words. Actually I have plenty that needs doing, More Student Finance nonsense, car stuff, and some more phone calls...as well as sorting out letters and *cough* filing...
