Hi everyone....ive been trying to dip in and out a bit the last few days but not managed too well. Caz, I was so sorry to hear about the house. You sounded so excited. Its awful to do that to anyone, it shouldnt be allowed.
Elle, I hope the scan goes well for Rhys
Tiggs, glad you are all doing well. We were never asked to bring our own nappies in. I think, especially in SCBU that parents would have enough on their minds.
Choppy, I got a very similar Pink Lining change bad from John Lewis. It has bows on and i love it too. I was forever loosing things in the bottom of the boots free one.
SM, hope everything goes okay with FIL.
Im sure i had so much more to say, hope everyone is well xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
Tigs, I think Tia only changes nappies 3 times a day... I change Caitlyn every 2 hours or so... But she's in washables and she hates being wet... Once they're older you tend to find yourself struggling to remember when you last changed it... Unless they've pooped!
SM, don't see it as him forcing you out of a room, see it as you choosing not to be in the same room as him... The 1 time I allowed my MIL into my house to see Caitlyn, I stayed up in bed... I didn't want to see the woman so I didn't... Hubby took the baby downstairs to her, then bought her back up to me stinkng of the vile woman... I put her into the bath
I did baby massage (well, legs and tummy is all we've learnt so far) on Aimee tonight... She's so flipping long! I had to get her to scrunch her legs up so I could reach her belly lol... She said it relaxed her, and I haven't heard a peep from her so it must have...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

.. I've only ever changed nappies when either dirty or full which was around 10 a day for the first fortnight-ish but now is down to around 5 per 24hr period
Rhys went through 5 in one morning last week - no idea where he was storing it all up! :rolleyes:Elle I have a webcam and nosey baby too
Awww... I'm jealous of babies with hair! I was looking at pics of Rhys earlier and he had lots of dark hair (like me) and now it's all gone. All fine and fair (like OH) now :cool:0 -

Someone needs to move the mini Daims away from me... The pile of wrappers is getting rather large...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Carla, I have the single twister XTS that we bought for DS2 as a special needs buggy (he was a bit big for other buggies). I love it. Downsides are that is it heavy (but very very sturdy) and the tyres are blow up and so get punctures oh and the clip thing to keep it together when folded is a bit of a fiddle, but I never bother using it to keep it together when folded, it just gets slung in the boot. But it is large and roomy, very sturdy, great off-road due to the suspension and a 3 wheeler.
Tigs, nappies are very absorbant and I find I only have to change Amber 3 times a day (unless she has poo'd which is only every 2-3rd day anyway). So I'd say the nappy folks are just trying to get cash out of you. And yes, SCBU only tend to change them at set times to moniter their output and because they also know that they don't need changing just because they did a pee, the nappy is so absorbant that the urine is all kept away from the skin anyway. Urine doen't cause nappy rash, it is the reaction between urine and faeces that causes nappy rash. (so change a poo but leave a pee - MSE)0 -
I'm glad Keira isn't the only one who eats things like that then
I just find it odd because say when we go to Jimmy Chungs all you can eat buffet (think it's a Scottish thing that started in Aberdeen) I just take a bit of what ever I want, I'll quite easily put honey pork in a sauce over chicken curry, and just combine all the flavours lol, my friend Paul says I'm weird, and I just told him he was for eating dry food....
oh hang on maybe that's it, I can't stand to eat "dry" things by themselves, Hence why I have saucy things mostly or douse chips ad things in ketchup, and I can quite easily drink 5 cans of diet coke (or water or squash....) with my meal, I take a big slurp after every bite really, stop the dryness congealing in my throat and strangling me:D:D:D
