Oh AM, Keira had something wrong with one of her eyes, it was her tear duct hadn't opened properly, widened or something! Anyways it left her with a watery eye ALL the time. Is that what Ryan has?0

I've got a cranky baby who doesn't want her tea. And she does what DS2 does, sleeps with her eyes open.
Angela, I can't look at pics of DS2 in his incubator. Doesn't help that the ones we do have, MIL took before I had seen him. Feels like the pictures were stolen somehow. The baby in those pics have nothing to do with me at all.
ETA read back and it's funny tgat MM and Elle feel the same. I am proud of course but can't think of any of my babies being the same ones with wires. Even with Amber who was only in SC for a week I still think of her as Eyore in that week, not Amber.0 -

DS1 was in special care for a week then a week on a bilibed at my bedside.
DS2 was a week in NICU and a week in special care.

I didn't see him till he was 3 days old so it's quite upsetting that someone was in there photographing him before I even saw him. Also the fact that I was seriously ill and they didn't think I was going to make it plays a part too0 -

When Jasmine was born and I was in recovery getting my 1st blood transfusion, everyone saw her before me and I have never got over that. It might have been OK if it was just my mum, but it was mum, dad, MIL, FIL, SIL & my nephew. They were under strict instruction not to come to the hospital until they were phoned when Dylan was phonedThe two best things I have done with my life

I've got some good news, about an hour ago I was stood hugging my husband-we both looked down at Elliot who was standing by his toy box, he then let go and took 3 steps all by himself!!
*proud mom moment* lets hope he does it again!!Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0 -

And then I had skin-on-skin cuddles with him for the first time :j :j :j I was going to ask about it, but wasn't sure if he was stable enough / big enough / ready. Today's SC nurse did her dissertation on kangaroo care, so she suggested it before I even asked. And it was lovely, he fitted just perfectly against me and settled right down for a good hour's snooze, arm outstretched onto my boob. I'm a Mum
That is fantastic YAY for skin to skin. Jack loves it with me and Daddy.searching_me wrote: »just read my post back and realised that sound abit mean didnt mean it like that its just i have the biggest fear of cot death so much so i didnt sleep for the first 4 days of jayden being born i was seeing double by the end of it ... even now jayden sleeps in his bouncer til we go to bed x
I'm not going to read it but thanks anyway Weezl.
I'm always checking Jack when he is asleep day or night - I normally check his temp at the back of his neck and usually have cold hands which makes him turn over.

 that would freak me out.
Apparently I still snore - thought it might have gone now Jack born
I think I have a poorly little boy - OH went to the docs last Weds and they said he had a viral infection. Since Friday it turned into a really bad throat and he's lost his voice (yay for me, crap cos he's got an interview Thursday!)
He's not been close to Jack at all but today Jack sounds a bit wheezy but he keeps pulling his windy face so I don't know what is wrong with him. He just won't settle bless him. He's in his downstairs carrycot and is whimpering in his sleep - I hate seeing him like thisA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
