MM, I'm doing fine. Struggling to keep the house tidy and a bit of tension between me and DH because he won't help out at home because he is never at home (working) but we will get through it. It's always the same with a new baby I just have to remember that, and remember it and remember it and remember it... :D

This afternoon, Andrew managed to projectile poop in the incubator whilst I was changing him (ewwwwwwwwww). Must remember that he's already developed a twice-a-day poop routine, and try to do his cares before his 3pm evacuation! :rotfl:

And then I had skin-on-skin cuddles with him for the first time :j :j :j I was going to ask about it, but wasn't sure if he was stable enough / big enough / ready. Today's SC nurse did her dissertation on kangaroo care, so she suggested it before I even asked. And it was lovely, he fitted just perfectly against me and settled right down for a good hour's snooze, arm outstretched onto my boob. I'm a Mum :D

I actually cried reading that, I am so happy for you. Dylan wasnt early, but was in NICU for 2 weeks, and even being allowed to change his bum on day 6 had me in tears cuz it was the first time I was allowed to do anything other than hold his hand :D
Has he spent much more time off his CPAP ? In no time this will all be a distant memory, and you will have your gorgeous little boy at home and can have cuddles all day if you so wish :D

They're trying to find a routine that suits him best - he was on 8hrs off / 4hrs on, but wasn't lasting the distance; then on 6hrs on/off; but this evening they're going to try a 4hr on/off routine, and see if that tires him out less.
