Where do you get Pura cat litter from? I go through about 20kg a month with the two cats, and I must empty it completely about 3 times a week, because the litter is cheap and rubbish, they kick soggy pee and poo crumbs all over the clean parts!

I would prefer a decent litter, do Tesco sell it? Cause I get my shopping delivered because I don't have a car and I think I'd die trying to walk back with a 20kg bag of litter!! :)

I think 24week abortion limit is way too long (unless there is a medical reason or at least a genuine reason why it shouldn't be continued with)

I've heard of people getting a sex scan at 20weeks, then finding out it's not what they wanted and then getting an abortion. It's terrible.
hear hear. that was why some hospitals are funny about telling you the sex. they tend to be funny with asian/religious families more than white british/non religious families about that, so i've heard, cos their culture taught them they should have boys cos girls were weak

i know the limit is so high because of the detailed deformity checking scan not being til 20 weeks, but i do think the law needs changing desperately. 24 weeks is far too long. perhaps if doctors were able to extend the limit in special circumstances i.e. finding potentially fatal deformities/life restricting illnesses/extreme disabilities at the 20 week scan it would be more acceptable, but that would open a whole can of worms against the doctors that would get to make that decision. mind you is it still the case that two doctors have to agree to an abortion in the first place, so it would be very hard to get such a late one without very good reason?

  • Weezl I was just playing with Els squeaky spider and thought how easy it would be for you to make, she loves it and always giggles when we play with it.
I've put some pics on my FB just for you, so hopefully you can see them. The squeaker is in the palm of the glove. I can explain more if you fancy making one.

  • Buttons, I use catsan, I get it delivered from Tesco and I think it's brill... The only time it wiffed was when I was pregnant and hubby was slack at cleaning it out... Now the weather is nice though and the cats are in and out, I don't think they use it so much anymore... Might go and inverstigate...

Keeley, glad things are easier... I know what you mean, I prefer it when my neighbours split up and she goes to her mothers for a few weeks... Things are much calmer and the little hell devils they spawned aren't there to chuck rubbish over the fence or kick holes in it...

£30 cashback through Quidco for a virgin contract :money:
he's mid contract unfortunetly so no cash back, but virgin are really good for just giving you a new phone if yours breaks (you'd think they'd tell OH to bog off coz he breaks all his phones )

The worst thing was that i would have been 24 + 2 by my dates but when we had the scan they changed my dates by 3 days, so by the hospital dates i was 23 + 6 and they said they wouldnt help. It was the most heart wrenching time of our lives.

Thankfully, they managed to stop the labour, even tho they had earlier refused to try, as they also said this was something they only tried after 24 weeks. When i eventually had her it was a very traumatic birth and i think in situations like that its easier for the direct person going through it, than those who have to stand by and watch. I think my OH was deeply affected by it all x

it claims to last a month but I think thats a bit generous, we changed it weekly when the 2 cats were kept in the house, now they go out everyday it does last a month
have you looked for online suppliers that could deliver?
or take the buggy with you and put it in the buggy :p

  • I used to use city cat, and it was good for my one cat but once we had 2 or 3 it didn't even last a week...
