I LOVE MY MEDELA SWING!!!!!
Just thought I'd share that with you :rotfl:
Grandparents loved Andrew, though (despite being told) they were amazed at how small & perfect he isHe now has a toy cow, and three beautiful knitted premie cardigans & hats for when he can wear clothes!

I don't have the swing but I have the harmony and the mini electric and they are great!!!
Awww he has an incubator buddie, every little baby needs one of those to keep forever and ever.
I've got a couple tiny cardies and booties that Amber grew out of too quick (everyone was expecting her to be early) that would do when he gets to the 4lb mark. Prefer to pass them on than sell them on ebay and they get bought by those premature sized life like doll fanatics.
ETA, I'm off to play fable 2 and make my wee wumun get drunk and vomit and get jiggy0 -
Oh, I do hate it that they describe small baby clothes as "dolls clothes" *shudder*
We gave all our 3-5lb bits to the hospital / friends. Smallest we have now is Asda Tiny Baby, upto 6lb, which still just fit Rhys at 7lb 5oz.. Shout out to the fairies when Andrew is a bit bigger and we'll see what we can do0 -
sorry to hark back to a previous question, but I'd really like others thoughts and I think only sami posted:p
What did people think was a good rate for granny having fergie per day? I was thinking £30. Too much? Too little?
Would appreciate any suggestions
I agree with everyone else weezl, I think a gift would be much better, but for family I would offer £20 at the most for a full dayAnyone recommend a good chew toy for DS2??? This boy has an obsession with chewing things and having things in his mouth!!! He has gotten shocks from chewing DS chargers (we have went through 5 so far). His tops have holes in the sleeves and neck and along the bottom, lost count of the amount of toys he has chewed, he chewed the old sofa, a table, his bed, xbox controllers, remote controls, a lamp shade, the curtain, two of my shoes (different shoes) and he always has a nibble on his own boots. Worse than a dog. The dog only had a chew at the kitchen door and one pair of my shoes.
I was going to suggest something like beef jerky, so he is getting food and chewing (and chewing, and chewing ...)The two best things I have done with my life

Evening all. That was easier than I thought! Izzy screamed at the prospect of boobies and didn't want very much expressed milk (I'd warmed it up, so I've had to tip it
) but after a little cry she went to sleep reasonably easily in my arms. Hopefully it will be similarly straight forward when she wakes up in the night.
We're busy watching Miss Marple, and trying to work out who all the people we recognise are. It's very frustrating!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Mel, Good luck with everything. Keep popping in when you get 5 mins.
Weezl, I would think about £20 a day but to be honest i too would go with the gift/ treat.
Im sure i had far more to say. Im shattered. Rose has been in bed since 6.30. Ive been cooking all day and i have done a meal plan for a whole month, inc shopping list etc. Worn out xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090
