I was going to post the link, but won't spoil it for you. It's just an aside in the movie, but it had me creased with laughter.

I did say that Salt was good. Yes, if sequel, will probably have a trilogy (just so as they can rake their monies' worth).

    Grown-ups, I haven't heard about. I'll take a look.

    Edit to add:

Upon reflection, I do remember the trailers for it, but wasn't too sure about it.

I meant to ask for the link, you won't spoil the film for me. With my memory I will have forgotten it by the morning :rotfl:

I've been wracking my brains as to who you said was down to play the part before AJ, I know it was a man. Must search your posts.

The trailer for Grown-ups didn't impress me much either but they were the only two films that fitted time wise today. IMO it is better than the trailer but we are all different. Don't get me wrong, it isn't going to be my fave film of the year but was nowhere near the worst I've seen either.
  • registered at sky - not a sky customer though - but just wont let me access the ''Rewards'' link for The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud!!! boo!

I think that it was Tom Cruise slated to be the lead before Angelina

BTW Tibbs, I take it that the rucksack scene that you and Willey liked, is the scene where she 'visits her young neighbour'?

Just found Tibbs' original post and you are quite right. TC seems to think of himself as a right little action man doesn't he? Mission Impossible, Knight and Day and (almost) Salt. Don't milk it Tom.:D
  • hi. im a newbie... this is my first post... i watched 'Going The Distance' this eve with my 19yr old daughter... i personally thought the swearing and sexual content overpowered the storyline...(which i found long winded and predictable)... tho my daughter begs to differ!!...she said she really enjoyed the movie.. maybe im just getting old lol... however these were my first 'free' tickets thanks to this site and i would like to say a BIG 'thank you' to those that post the codes... the film may have been 'free'... but the quality time spent with my daughter..'priceless'... !! thanks again.. :-)

    Okay, here goes:

(please no-one else watch it if you haven't seen the movie)

    Wrt Salt:

The actor earmarked for the role was Tom Cruise.

Salma Hayek can be quite funny (I'm thinking Dogma), so Grown-Ups might be okay. I actually thought about cancelling Going the Distance (due to schedule), but glad I went. Sometimes films you don't expect to be good can be alright.

I have to skip Cyrus, not through want (it's free and my namesake shows that I likes me freebs - lol), but due to other commitments tomorrow. Please let me know how your screening goes on Wednesday (as you've mentioned in a previous post) and something about a strange combination of lager and cheese or along that lines. Isn't it meant to be cheese and wine?

Yup, and script fully written for a male lead. Had to be rewritten for female lead.

Odeon and Vue gave them free....Cineworld we had to buy (although they are only 80p from cineworld ;)...was a bit grumpy tho as I had 8 pairs at home...oh well we live and learn! :o )

I paid to see Toy Story in 3D at Odeon, and had to pay for 2 pairs. So I don't know if it is up to each cinema to decide if they charge or not, or whether the free ones are a cheaper version, or what?

I have put them in the glove compartment of my car, so I can never forget them ( she says hopefully;)) as we always have to drive to the cinema.

This was definitely the scene I was referring to, but will obviously say no more for the peeps that have yet to watch the movie. However, I have to say that I liked the character's priorities.
