Hi everyone, I'm new to this so wondered if someone could give me a bit of help. I've managed to get a tickets for "The Switch " from see it first. On my email it says, for media promotion you are required to take also the page or voucher printed in this promotion. Without sounding blonde - what is it im meant to take as the ticket printed out just with a little picture of the film.

Dont want to give myself a red face next week going with the wrong thing - any advice greatly appreciated x

You're mis reading the front page. It actually says " for some media promotions". In some cases you need to take a page from a mag or newspaper. But even then you aren't always asked for it. In the case of The Switch. I don't think you need to take anything other than the printout.

You need to click on where it says "click here to print your ticket" on the email you've been sent.

    HTH

hi just wonder do you think i might get tickets for London city in october?
    we are coming down then
    thanks

As recently discussed on this page, nobody can predict what previews are shown at which cinemas. It's all in the lap of the promoters.

No probs. BTW you take the printout to the people who take the tickets. Don't go to the box office as it isn't on the system with it being a preview. They won't have a clue.

    Hope you enjoy film.

    Hi,

I have tickets for "The girl who played with fire" on Sunday 22/8/10 at 10.30.

I'm just confirming that this will start at 10.30am, as I expect they will use the 24 hour clock?

I don't want to turn up 12 hours early, should it be 10.30pm.

I have never attended any free Sunday screenings before.

    Thanks in advance for clarification.

You're quite right, it is 10.30am. Most Sunday screenings are on a Sunday morning.

"It would be an even better idea if people used the thread as it was intended. PLEASE, no chat"

Do they SERIOUSLY not get the irony as they click the 'submit reply' button???

I quite agree. The person who originally posted in error was new to this thread and quite understood it when I sent a polite pm with link to discussion thread. I just wish people would treat others with kindness instead of publicly jumping down others' throats. This forum seems to have inundated with some very nasty mouthed self important smart alecks over recent months.

The trouble is you have to log on every time there is a post to continue getting notifications, its such a pain, just to see people complaining about other people posting in codes.....don't they get their post generates an email too.....................................

Can you tell I'm grumpy after returning from a few days away....:rotfl:
