There must be a way within vBulletin that you can make an option where the user must ticks a box before there post goes through, perhaps it would be useful to have this and with a message "Please only tick this box to post if you are posting a code, for discussion please click here"

That would stop most of the problem I think.

There is a similar thing on the DigitalPoint forums when posting a new thread, I've done a search for a mod that automatically does this, but I can't find one

edit: Just seen somebody above posted a similar idea, great minds think alike ;)

Got tickets for The Girl who Played with Fire on Sunday. Aberdeen venue changed to Queens Links instead of Union Square, which is better because no parking fees at the former venue - phew.

Leaving it a bit late to watch the first part of the trilogy - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Having to journey miles to get DVD (although not my car or petrol for that matter - you've got to be a tad bit canny!!!) from a friend after a last minute scramble to buy DVD  and finding it was a bit beyond my pricing comfort range (too new). Had just forked out millions of me pennies to see a theatre production (someone's big birthday coming up soon), and so was due a favour in return - double phew.

Therefore, now minus the price of the first DVD and the parking fees that I was faced with. The moths have already been working overtime from the purse :D. Hopefully now they'll be able to rest up a bit more mean time.

So, it may well have been true that copper wire "was" invented by two Aberdonians fighting over a penny then? ;)

    :D

    :rotfl:

I'd be proud if that was true - lol.

I'd understand the plight of Aberdonians, where Aberdeen is rip-off central. £102 for four tickets to see the theatre :eek::eek:.

London shows currently have a free night in a hotel linked to the tickets, by comparison. We have an additional booking fee on top of the ticket price!!!

    No wonder we're stingy.

I have a semi-serious cinema hobby, and needs me funds to finance that. Obviously free tickets help in the part-financing of that hobby - lol.
