Advice needed please.

I politely pmd the people chatting on codes asking them to post on discussion rather than code. One has ignored me but the second has called me a bully!
Who should I report to? Abuse or just the moderator? Or both?

Seagullism, I've seen yr second post on codes only! Please read this thread and you will see that Sky recently changed their rules. That's why the Mods started this thread so things like that can be discussed.

I think it's a rarity for a PM to be polite... I posted something on the codes board earlier, and had 6 PMs. Pooch - yours was friendly and polite, but I had 2 telling me to f**k off, 1 shouting at me in capitals, and two others with much worse abuse....

It's a shame, as I really like this board, but some people are downright rude.

from the codes only thread to this thread. This would enable discussion on the topic and save cluttering the codes only thread. All discussion should be directed here, hence the thread title.

Lately, we've had to contend with full blown discussions on the codes only thread (and people following suit like lemmings, escalating the fuel on the fire), not just an occasional blip or alert.

Personally, I agree whole heartedly with you in that there should be no discussion on the codes only thread.

Discussion here. Full stop. No exception.
