The current method is completely flawed and allows people like me to take advantage of it. Now before you go on like a monkey on crack, my argument is that the forum members are just as wrong as me publishing these codes on a public internet forum (a wrong is a wrong, a sin is a sin, regardless of how biggie/smalls it is. Viewers should be obtaining their codes via legit sources such as Heat magazine, Marie Claire etc etc. Technically speaking, publishing these codes are similar to publishing a pirate DVD on the web. The latter affects the Hollywood industries. The former affects some poor bast*rd who purchased a mag only to find out all tickets have ran out. DONT even think about trying to justify it and give yourself an orgasm by entertaining the idea that I am The Dark Knight and you guys are the Disciples. At least I admit, I am the Playboy and BATMAN. Wooooooo baby woooooo.0

I went to watch Heartbreaker last night & also loved it! I actually think it's the best Rom Com of the year so far. And the great thing about it being French was that it felt more genuine and less cliched than I would expect an American version to be. I definately recommend it!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

Don't all cinemas turn up the A/C whatever the weather? I always have to bring a cardi or scarf when i'm there... i even sneezed a couple of times tonight. :rotfl:
Hope you do get to see the movie as it's definately worth the time.
I meant hot outside, so couldn't be bothered to move from the house. Pure laziness on my part.
Given Poochface went twice to see it and you've all said it was good, I'm going to try and see if there are any tickets left.
I'm gutted I misssed Karate Kid though. I gave my tickets to my mum (bit like Tibbs volunteering to watch every Gerard Butler film). She loved it and wants to go again and again... so if anyone has tickets for either Heartbreaker or Karate Kid in Lonond and can't use them, please please please let me know.
Thanks.“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

I had seen the Heartbreak back in April in France and loved it. I agree with all your praises about this film, it is worth seeing.
I never realised it would be subtitled though which I think will limit the appeal but fairplay for this as a lot is lost in translation, and the subtitles didn't always reflect the humour of some comments.
This film is very similar to another French film - Hors de Prix (Priceless) with Audrey Tautou & Gad Elmalech which was dumbed.
It always saddens me when Hollywood takes over as with their big budgets it's never as good: Taxi, 3 Men and a Baby, True Lies, .... were all French films originally.
The French cinema industry produces so many great films and it's a real shame they rarely make it accross to the UK.
The Heartbreaker is a must-see film and the best rom com I've seen this year.0 -
sho_me_da_money - You seem to have quite a nasty streak in you. There isn't really any need for it.
Ibaxx, I really wouldn't worry.
I too was intrigued about his attitude, and found this thread he started.
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2427647
Where he starts off asking for help and advice because their job is on the line..... but by the last few pages is pleading for the moderators to close the whole thread because of the strength of feeling being aired against him.
No sho_me_da_money, I haven't wasted my time reading all your sad rantings, I flicked through and actually found it very entertaining.
I love the juxtapostion of your attitude just a few months ago, where you claim
"I am on a final written warning and I cannot afford to have the slightest blemish on my record otherwise its sayanara."
and your arrogant assertions now that
"some clever/dodgy people like me that can obtain tickets EVEN when they unavailable"
"I'll shaft them for a few hundred more illegit screenings"
"Anyways, Ive been onto this game for a while and ill continue playing until I get caught, which wont be sooo bad. I mean what they gonna do "Ohhh you naughty boy,"
You appear to have a problem with honesty and integrity, but worryingly also appear self-delusional - as others on the "Will I get fired" thread commented on.
If you want to keep your job and you are already on a Final Written Warning, why are you bragging about your dubious scams on a public forum ?
I may be wrong, but I think an employer can also take exception to your activities outside the workplace, esp if they consider it reflects badly on them.
But no doubt you consider all the warnings from your employer as so much "Donkey crap" so just carry on, but could you please take your childish rantings onto another thread please and leave us to discuss cinema tickets:o
Talking of which, I must agree my favourite film so far is The Blind Side. I have seen it twice, and would happily see it again0 -

Hey hey, i've got 2 ticks for Karate kid at Vue Westfield this sunday 4th July for the 10.30am showing. I will be away up north that weekend and doubt i'd be able to make it back in time for the screening. I've already seen the movie 3 times (yes 3 times!!) They were with different friends and family as all couldn't make one particular date, so we've split them up, haha... Let me know if you're interested and i'll pm you.The best things in life are free0 -
What I found so funny is his blatant boasting of his I.T. skills/qualifications yet when he posted photos of his car bent round a concrete pillar he left his number plate for the world to see :rotfl: Someone else had to blank it out and repost the photo lmao. I'm a middle aged woman who is basically self taught when it comes to computer skills but even I know how to blank something as important as a number plate from a photo on a public forum and more importantly I would have done so in the first place!lilian1977 wrote: »A post by sho_me_da_money from another thread:
