  • All jokes aside, many people using this thread are here to supplement a very expensive hobby. Film/movie watching isn't cheap. To be able to watch and review a few films that you either wouldn't be able to afford additionally to go and see or might not label as being a priority on a long list of films that you want to see, then this can only be a good thing. It broadens the types of movies I go and see, and tbh, I'm pleasantly surprised at the content of some films that I may not have instantly considered previously. It partially funds my film hobby education.

    Ibaxx, I really wouldn't worry.
I too was intrigued about his attitude, and found this thread he started.

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2427647

Where he starts off asking for help and advice because their job is on the line..... but by the last few pages is pleading for the moderators to close the whole thread because of the strength of feeling being aired against him.
No sho_me_da_money, I haven't wasted my time reading all your sad rantings, I flicked through and actually found it very entertaining.
I love the juxtapostion of your attitude just a few months ago, where you claim

"I am on a final written warning and I cannot afford to have the slightest blemish on my record otherwise its sayanara."

and your arrogant assertions now that

"some clever/dodgy people like me that can obtain tickets EVEN when they unavailable"

"I'll shaft them for a few hundred more illegit screenings"

"Anyways, Ive been onto this game for a while and ill continue playing until I get caught, which wont be sooo bad. I mean what they gonna do "Ohhh you naughty boy,"

You appear to have a problem with honesty and integrity, but worryingly also appear self-delusional - as others on the "Will I get fired" thread commented on.

If you want to keep your job and you are already on a Final Written Warning, why are you bragging about your dubious scams on a public forum ?
I may be wrong, but I think an employer can also take exception to your activities outside the workplace, esp if they consider it reflects badly on them.

But no doubt you consider all the warnings from your employer as so much "Donkey crap" so just carry on, but could you please take your childish rantings onto another thread please and leave us to discuss cinema tickets:o

Talking of which, I must agree my favourite film so far is The Blind Side. I have seen it twice, and would happily see it again

Oh thank you, that was very funny reading, taken me ages to read that thread !!!!

Hey hey, i've got 2 ticks for Karate kid at Vue Westfield this sunday 4th July for the 10.30am showing. I will be away up north that weekend and doubt i'd be able to make it back in time for the screening. I've already seen the movie 3 times (yes 3 times!!) They were with different friends and family as all couldn't make one particular date, so we've split them up, haha... Let me know if you're interested and i'll pm you. ;)

Would love them... have just PMd you.

    Thanks.

Anyone smart would have kept quiet about it, yet you blabber on the net... that's pretty DUMB if you ask me.

It won't be too difficult to identify you and get you banned from any cinema, I know my local cinemas will soon know all about you!

Oh and you should have called yourself "show me the brains".
  • To stick to the topic at hand, you sharing codes on a public forum is not permitted by SFF/Tellten etc.

    DOH!

Only certain codes are banned from being posted online by SFF/Tellten, etc. These are the codes specifically sent to a few select people (via email), and within those specific emails it expressly states not to share, as they have been reserved specifically for film bloggers/reviewers, etc. Most of their emails do not have this specification, only a certain few sent to those who have registered as providers of external reviews.

Other codes can be shared freely.

    Completely agree.
Thanks to the generosity of those who post on the code thread ( and companies like SFF/Tell Ten) I have been able to visit the cinema dozens of times more often than if I had had to pay.
Plus seen such a vastly differing selection.... If i had been paying to go to the cinema three or four times a year, I would have stuck to the safe choices.
As it is, I have seen some brilliantly moving films, some average and some downright dodgy ones....

The time I dragged the family (inc teenage son) to see Aquamarine has gone down in family legend. Whenever I try to organise a group trip to the cinema to help "family bonding" they insist on knowing chapter and verse about the film before they step foot outside the house!:p:D
