What some landlords will do to get rid of a tenant, I hope life really means life in this case.

""What some landlords will do "" - dont you mean just one landlord - one landlord in a million ?
whilst every illegal death is to be utterly abhorred, and certainly one involving such awful violence as this - i am really shocked at this link having being put up on this forum.
This is a serious forum for debating issues that concern landlords and tenants to seek help and advice and to exchange views on legal issues
it is NOT a forum to further demonise landlords by implication - and i think having put up this link is utterly inappropriate0 -

I don't agree obviously. This article highlighted the greed of a particular landlord, who thought he could take a life cheaply in order to make a £2million profit on a property investment. This is a serious matter
for discussion. This landlord may have resorted to murder in this case, but there are landlords up and down the country resorting to illegal means of victimising their tenants, whether it be withholding deposits or finding ways of eviction. This case is the extreme.

Some tenants fight back though: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/851738/angry-tenant-drilled-through-landlords-skullA British man tried to murder his landlord by drilling through his skull with a power tool because he was asked to move out, a court has been told.
Raymond Douglas "flew into a murderous rage" after Lee Woodford tried evicting him for making too much noise, jurors at London's Old Bailey heard yesterday.0 -
I think the sooner we put more pro-tenant legislation in place the better. This case highlights that landlords increasingly feel they complete power over their tenants lives and they need to be put back in their place.0

What has this got to do with Landlords or even MSE?
Get yourself on Iwanttomakeapointlesscommentabouteverything.com or some other self-righteous site as this is playing down a very serious issue (especially with that stupid 'angry face' icon).Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. So you're not angry that someone was killed for profit? you consider it pointless and not worth mentioning or commenting that someone has lost his life? You should be visiting your own website!
