    Am back!

Just a quick post....things now OK with Mr R and I.....well, he thinks so and I am just rubbing along, but am the kind of person who doesn't forget things said in the heat of the moment that easily, am afraid, so it's going to take a while....still feel a bit bruised and hurt I guess.

Paris itself was lovely as usual, Mr R did a good marathon time and improved on his London time by 10 mins, but I must say "The Row" did rather take the shine off it all a little from my viewpoint....still, on the MSE front, I stayed out of the shops, which was a first, and just enjoyed walking around, the fine parks and the river, and some very nice (if costly) meals....and it was wonderful to be there again. In another life, I would have made une vrai Parisienne.........

Just ticking along financially, need to keep myself in check as this is the time of year at which I seem to like to spend, but am doing quite well so far. Though am cleaning for someone tomorrow and have earmarked the cash already (and it's not going off a card!),figuring it's OK to do so as all bills paid for the month, and love the feeling that I've bought something nice and the money has neither gone into, or out of, my account..... and two more bites and that RBS card will be gone!

    OK, got stuff to do.......

I'm glad you went to Paris, and that it was generally pretty good, although sorry that it was tinged with the prior row. I hope you manage to get things sorted shortly so that it doesn't spoil your year.
