    ooooh i never thought of doing that with receipts btd, think I might do a bit of wombeling myself!!! You are so super organised getting your wrapping done already, I really need a kick up the backside with my christmas shopping, mind you I'm pixking up bits and pieces as I go. have a good day

  • Thankyou all so much for your lovely replies!:D I am back on track now i have a rare night on my own and instead of indulging myself with a takeaway curry which i really fancied i went to tesco to get a finest chicken biryani and it was reduced!!:T Less money and calories!!
    Car failed MOT but was £95 to put right so no huge blow!!:confused: car is ten years old so could have been lot worse!;).

    Had a lovely bonfire night courtersy of grandparents and little J is there again with his cousin for another one tonight cost to me +£0:D:D

    Seem to be refocused eating and spending wise!!:rolleyes:

    Well done re. CCs coming down :T. Are you "snowballing" your repayments or just paying the minimum to reduce monthly outgoings?

    I've only just started to dent my debt (circa £19k) so just wondered what works best for you?

    Am working all this and next weekend but money will pay off some bills...MOT due and I think it's going to fail :eek:

    2) £2.6K Net savings after CCs 10/10/25
    3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £27.9K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.25K) = 34/£127.5K target 26.6% 10/10/25
    (If took bigger lump sum = 60.35K or 47.6%)
    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise) (If bigger lump sum £15.8/30K 52.67%)

    Hi chrisblue i am just paying min at mo on all have 8 so its hard to overpay any but i am happy that i can meet repayments at the moment and i plan that when one is paid off to then overpay one with highest interest.:D

  • Purse staying home next week just looked at bank and balance is £450 more o/d than this time last month :eek: as i paid car ins in full and bought christmas presents!
    Def no chip shop i have to lose some weight otherwise i will be starting the new year in to another stone bracket if you know what mean:rolleyes:.
    I do not work to a debt free date i work to a debt free future i think f i put a date on it and something expected comes up and pushes it further away i would be despondant!:confused:.
    Fingers crossed nothing due now and christmas all done (sorry dont mean to keep bleating on about this!)!! So the road to MSE :money: is well and truly clear!!:j:j
