  • Hi all:D. well they have been saying for ages about food bills and i must admit i have really noticed latley!!!
    I was a bit unsettled in the week as i am usually all finished for christmas, food and drink also BUT before it was all on the never never card!:eek: Now i do what sensible people do and wait until paydays and get things when bills are paid!!!:T.
    I used clubcard vouchers today for tesco food shop as i am still clawing back some of the garage bill and 2 nights out!!! My thoughts were although they are far more valuable in days out rewards i will have feb's and Mays for that i need a bit of help now!:o.
    Taking to sandwiches next week as a bit fed up of the canteen now and spending up to £3 a day even though i was having just a snack in the evening!:A.
    Read pension pack this week lol only another 22 years!!!:rotfl:
    Hopefully going to see Arthur christmas tom had 2 free tickets from a delay in film starting a couple of weeks ago:). So only have to but one ticket x

  • I was thinking of taking DS to see Arthur Christmas so would be really interested in what you think of it!

    Have you looked on the tesco threads in the grabbits, tesco are always mis-pricing things and if you know what you are looking for you can save loads. Lots of people got free turkey crowns last week and toilet roll others are picking up certain nuts/crisps etc for 1p. Tesco also did a few secret sales this year with toys and electricals.

  • Aw thankyou munchin:) I try to stay posotive and count my blessings i do have down days though but i just think of my DH and ds and smile:D.

    Had an nsd today:T took packed lunch to work:T.
    Wrapped some more christmas presents:A.
    DH ruined my meal plan as he had 1 and 1/2 slices of lasagne :rotfl:never mind as long as he enjoyed it i dont mind having something else tom!!!:p

  • Hi all, dec are up!:T:xmastree:. I think i will have to get a new tree next year i dont think it will survive another attic expedition!
    Our star topper broke the springy holder came off but when i went to get a new one in mr T's they had the same one with no holder just a ribbon tie on the back to tie on so i came home and tied mine on with ribbon:T!!
    Annoyed at mr T latley i had a coupon for a 200ml lynx they dont do 200ml lynx!!! Tin toms buy 1 get 2 free out of stock last week and this week offer ends feb!!! And tree lights pack of 100 clear £5.28 none left !!! BAH!!! Had to have 50 for £4!
    Back to the wiskey and i had a great deal in asd£ a bottle of glenfiddich 70cl reduced from £32 genuine price i have seen it elsewhere down to £18:T:T:snow_grin!!!!
    Bought some finest stuffing and pigs in blankets to freeze, turkey crowns not in store yet! Got goose fat and cranberry sauce.
    Oven man coming to fix oven next week thermostats gone:mad:.
    Got all presents except 2 secret santa prezzies and another thing for fil!
    As much as i love christmas when you havent got a credit card it is hard work BUT SOOOOOOOOO worth it! I have just have had to learn to wait!!:xmassmile.
    Night out fri just local pub no new clothes just me what i have in wardrobe and my sense of humor:rotfl:.
    Off now to fiddle with my tree ooohhh matron lol.
