Hi all:wave: ! Ok money saving things since last update. Done well on ebay:j. All posted today. Also bought a christmas present that was on ds list (yep he has had the new argos book out:rotfl:). It was a magic set when i put it on amazon wish list it was £19.99 went to £14.99 today so bought it!:D
Ds on hols with mil and fil so i am having cupboard scratchings all week to use up food before buying anymore.
umm what else? Oh i am transferring £1 a day for next years hols and £10 per week for christmas food shop.:p.
Oh yes ad i bought 3 tickets for westmidlands safari park for b hol for £15 with tesc& vouchers!:T Will take food and drink so just ride wristbands to pay for. Also have enough vouchers for 1 ticket for oakwood park for a weekend in oakwood and a stay in tenby!!!:)
I love tesc£ vouchers!!!0 -
Hello:D. Well its the last bank holiday until christmas so i have a clear run of what i call "financial lockdown" and fat busting!!
Went to safari park yest. Took picnic, home late so had mcdonalds on way home (that helped my diet no end not!).
Nothing planned now until tenby in oct which i will save for. (so much for clear run i hear you say)
Tesc* took £27 too uch in a direct debit payment so i rang and they sent me £40 in giftcards instead of just 27 pound refund:T so i have put by for christmas.
My £10 a week for christmas food shop is still going and my £1 a day for hol spends next year.
I am also saving for a hen weekend next oct!
Ds has a bank shift tonight:D. Um nowt else happening trying to stay posotive and focused and keep looking forward not back!!
Swimming and pizza tom then that is it!!!!!!!!!!! Yes it is!!!!:A
Oh forgot i had asda shop delivered and allowed for alternatives which was very lucritive as they sent £12 of sirloin instead of £6 he he x0 -
Off swimmig today then budgeted pizza express. Looking back over our year it does not seem like i am i debt and watching money e g various theme parks and holidays but belive me i plan plan plan for best deals!:D And picnics are the new black!!!!!
Also very lucky with caravans in family (2) and mil and fil paid for ds when we went abroad. We are very lucky. However after today its saving for our oct trip and continuing to buy christmas presents weekly.
Cant belive we havent used any form of credit since January this will be the first christmas that is bought and paid for :j. Such a good feeling. We should be totaly debt free in 6 years and things will drop off and ease the preassure before then on a yearly to 2 yearly basis i would think.
Def going to keep up the asd£ shop on line. Off to get ready for swimming well (sliding) now! Hello stripes and anyone else who visits xx:A0 -

the ins def a god send, - know when we had to have dyno rod out, as our neighbours blocked the drain, dreaded the bill.
I've gone for basic school sweatshirt, the batch our school had last yr was dodgy batch by xmas 3/4 of the kids had no cuffs.
Holidays, day outs etc, yes they may be seen as a luxury, but you look how you have done them, inlaws caravan, tesco vouchers, picnics, you've put 1000% effort into that, and bet penny to a pound, a couple of yrs ago, pre lightbulb moment u wouldn't thought twice about just going.
I'm the same with hols, but theres a trade off, now ask for student discount, or disability discout, pick up discount vouchers, get pizza from sainsburys rather than ordering take away, taking drinks + picnic out.
What a farce what gd would an aerial be to someone else, just unbelievable xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Some people are idiots, stealing! They will nab anything that is metal these days for scrap. Hope you have a better day today:j0
