Sorry BTD I missed you question..............I am going to classes, I need the disicpline of the humilation. Have just swapped over to pro points in New Year. I put 1lb on over Xmas and another 1lb last week but I have been very disciplined this week, noted everything I ate and weighed all my food. I had no idea I used a pint of milk at day (I drink a lot of coffee) and also 150g of spuds, a medium portion is minute!!!! (How Irish am I)

re what to pay first. Have you 'snowballed', it works out the best thing to pay first. However, in saying that I have choosen to pay DH's biggest cc first, which is the second highest % but the biggest balance (£8000). Others chose to pay the smallest first because it is a great motivation. You decide!

  • Hi all, well things have come to a head with hubby's cc's and we made the very very difficult decicion to go on a self dmp with them.:(
And i have to be honest they were great.
I am a bit dissapointed but it was getting to the point where we were going without what we needed food wise.
I know there will be an impact on credit rating basically we will be unable toget credit for 6 yrs plus but do you know what i can sleep at night with that thought. how i was going to pay everyone did not make for a peaceful nights sleep. It really was starting to affect my health.
I ebayed 4 things and got £17 so that will go in to car repair/tax pot!

BTD there is no point in worrying yourself sick about the debt and if you did that you wouldn't be able to work and then you would be in much worse trouble so well done you for having the insight to see this was the best way forward for you and yours!

    Enjoy the cleaning - ugh!
