if they can't understand my change of address what would happen if you needed to put in a claim!!

I know first hand what happens - its a nightmare!

Someone drove into the back of my car a few years ago and the result was that the car was damaged almost beyond repair - after speaking to the garage I decided that I wanted the car written off as I didnt want to drive around in it after the amount of damage it had.

I must have spent around 10 hours on the phone altogether! in one call, the lady I spoke to was saying that 'an in-ginn-eer' would have to give 'a reppeer' - I had no idea what she was talking about - it took me around 20 minutes to work out that An Engineer had to give a report. She had no idea what 'written off' meant.

I changed insurers very shortly after that incident.

Don't even get me started, just spent half the day on the phone to Abbey, first lady I spoke to, Brenda (like really)didn't know what a cash point was it wasn't until I mentioned the word ATM she understood.
Later on I spoke to "Michael" I think he was trying for the world record for the number of times he could get my name into the conversation.
Going to have to go down town to sort it tomorrow Grrrrrrrrrrrr
