He knows i am low but right now i dont know what to do. today/this evening i am a million times worse and seriously considering self harm which is a major blow as i've not done nor thought about it really for over a year now. Im just googleing to see if i can find a number for the crisis team but cant find anything.:mad:0 -

You need to inform DVLA about bipolar and they send out a form to fill in and send back, i cant drive yet but want to learn and it says you cant drive while they look in to it. Also insurance companies are also meant to be informed to (if im wrong someone will correct me)
I know you prob feel lost i did when i was diagnosed about 8 weeks ago, if you need to chat pm meor chat on here, are you going through a manic period? is this why you moved your money? hope your getting good help from the hospital

DVLA told me i cant learn to drive once i had been told i was bipolar and had to stop driving immediately, you can be fined for driving with a medical condition and not telling them.
My psychiatrist says im ok to drive but DVLA wont let me until they have made checks on me which can take weeks, plus insurance would need to be told too.
Ring the DVLA and explain, you need to be ok and stable for at least 4 weeks before they will consider letting you drive.
Can someone help you out in the next few weeks while you get your license sorted? Is a Bipolar bear0 -

I am bipolarI get low and depresed with it at times and I hate it but I have to learn all about this condition as realise there are people out there who are also the same.

Hi, I'm bipolar too (among several other things), think I'm starting a down phase recently, but things are easier now that I know what signs to look out for.
Do we really really need to give up driving???0
