    Morning all :)

Talk about putting our nerves through the shredder these last few days !!!

I have just found out that the bank are willing to accept the Housing Association's offer and the Local Authority's offer from their Repossession Prevention Fund for the house as FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT :j:j

I've been told we don't have to sign any shortfall sale forms and now its just a matter of the funds reaching the solicitors in order to complete :T:T (not sure how long that takes but could be as early as next week!)

I feel like I should be on cloud nine, but after the long difficult struggle its been, until we are physically handing our first weeks rent over I am reserving celebrations :o

Just wanted to share my news and give some hope to others going through mortgage rescue that if you hang in there and don't take no for an answer, you can eventually get a result :D Good luck everyone.

I will update as I get further news but thanks everyone for the support and advice :A

I was one of the early successful participants in the scheme. Hope it has been refined a lot now. It seems to me to be a scheme, where it gives you a chance to get your finances back in order and either buyback your house or buy something else. If you are looking for the same rights as other social tenants, forget it its not designed that way.

    Hi Angie

Just catching up on your thread (been away for a couple of weeks) - what a nightmare.... up and down, up and down, you must be totally worn out with it all.

I'm so pleased though that at last it's all falling into place for you :)

We arrived home to find all the paperwork from the solicitors on the doorstep, so shouldn't be long now until MR is complete for us too.

    Hi Wammy

Glad to hear your rescue is progressing. You can't be too far off completion now, so good luck with everything :)

We may be looking at next week to complete, but I will believe it when it actually happens ;):)
