sweety I don't know what to say. I wonder if the ML are trying one last attempt to get you to sign for liability in the hope that you're not as clued up as you are. Lets not forget hat mortgage lenders are slippery and do scare their 'customers' into signing (we know I know this so can say it) they maybe trying this thinking your backs are against the wal, so close 'oh go on DH, lets just sign it, take the risk' etc etc they don't know you're here and so clued up about it all.
I feel another tactic, another paper shuffling game to get the ball in their court.
I'm sorry it's not over, I really really am xphilnicandamy wrote: »I'd be tempted to agree with mich.....maybe it truly is a last ditch attempt at you accepting liability...i'll cross EVERYTHING for tomorrow x
Thanks everyone for your replies and support :A
Miche and Phil, I am hoping you are right about this. We have just filled in the shortfall forms, we have filled in the income and expenditure form, have included payslips and BR details to show we have NO disposable income to pay a shortfall. We have NOT SIGNED anything, so its probably been a waste of time, because im presuming that without our signatures the forms are not worth the paper they are written on. But im hoping that by supplying the information the bank will make the decision.
I dont know if we are doing the right thing, hell who can I ask? Nobody seems to be making a decision on our case, I guess to them we are just another faceless fileThe HA just want to complete, all along they have encouraged us to sign for liability, obviously they want to start collecting rent. But what about people like me? Nobody goes through the hell of BR to then take on more debt , its crazy really and left us at an all time low
Our CAB advisor is taking the forms to the meeting tomorrow so I should hopefully find out on Thursday what the next step is.0 -
Oh Angie - completely gutted for you
I can't beleive they are dragging this out even more - they aren't going to get anything from trying to repossess you
Crumbs - you are so strong - you must be due some serious good fortune following all this.

Morning all
Talk about putting our nerves through the shredder these last few days !!!
I have just found out that the bank are willing to accept the Housing Association's offer and the Local Authority's offer from their Repossession Prevention Fund for the house as FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT :j:j
I've been told we don't have to sign any shortfall sale forms and now its just a matter of the funds reaching the solicitors in order to complete :T:T (not sure how long that takes but could be as early as next week!)
I feel like I should be on cloud nine, but after the long difficult struggle its been, until we are physically handing our first weeks rent over I am reserving celebrations
Just wanted to share my news and give some hope to others going through mortgage rescue that if you hang in there and don't take no for an answer, you can eventually get a resultGood luck everyone.
I will update as I get further news but thanks everyone for the support and advice :A
