Thanks for all the replies, its nice to feel not so alone going through this :)

I am waiting nervously for the LA to get back to me at the moment. I am really hoping the mortgage co will have looked at all our paperwork now and respond.

Thanks for the advice re the MP. I have been sitting here trying to compose a letter to him, just so I am prepared in case, but I must have writers block as its just not flowing!!!

Im not the greatest at putting things into words and not sure how much detail to go into but I will slog on and try and get something written :o

I am really hoping we don't have to go as far as getting the MP involved. Been worrying about publicity too. Only a few friends know what we are going through, not sure I would want all the neighbours to know too!!!!

    Good Morning :)

I heard from the LA late yesterday. The mortgage co have all our paperwork and contacted them yesterday.

Our case is being 'discussed' with the Mortgage co TODAY, so hopefully I might have some news later !!

Still not got very far with the letter to MP, but hopefully I will not have to go that far

Yep, sick to the back teeth of it all now :(

We desperately need an answer, I want my life back, I don't want to do this anymore. I need to have the decision so I can plan how to move on from it. There are other things in my life I have neglected because of this :o. All my energy has gone into this mortgage rescue to the point where I cant switch off. So to get a decision will be monumental for us and I hope will be my chance to start 'living' again.

    Angie,

I can't even imagine the pressure you have been and are going through - but you must one way or another - be 95% of the way there.

And - at least you can look forward to your AD.

As its only 48 hours away (maybe only 36 hours now) - can I be the first to say congratulations.

NEWS WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

11 months ago I started an application for the Governments Mortgage Rescue Scheme (Mortgage to Rent option) after my husband and I became bankrupt and were facing repossession of our home. Its been a long uphill struggle with many setbacks and has put my emotions through the shredder. Today we had the news we have been waiting for.

I had a phonecall from the LA today :):):):)

The mortgage company have agreed to allow the mortgage rescue to complete and are writing OFF the shortfall :j:j:j:j

They have accepted the offer from the Housing association with an additional sum the Local Authority have offered from their repossession prevention fund !!!!!

I am in shock at the moment and a tearful emotional mess but I cant stop smiling :D:D:D

    Thank you everyone :A xxxxx
