The LA have said they are ringing me today with news of their conversation with mortgage lender !!!

Waiting nervously for the call and will update after it. Stomach's doing butterflies :o just hope its good, rather than bad news.

Spoke to CAB yesterday, they reckon if the rescue fails and we are repoed, we could have 2-3 months in the house before eviction :(. Doesn't sound long to get everything packed up and find somewhere else to live

I should feel angry to let you all know that the LA didn't ring me today as they said they would in their email, but for some reason I think I knew the call probably wouldn't come.

I did get my hopes up I would have some news but i think Im just getting so worn down with it now that I cant even get angry any more when I am let down :(

I did try and ring them before 5pm but only got the ansaphone. So I will try tomorrow. I know they have had a conversation with my lender about the shortfall, but I don't know what has been said yet.

Thanks again for the suppoprt guys and I hope to be back with an update when I have one :o

  • Hang on in there angie, second guessing the unknown is soul distroying, been doing it long enough to know:o

So just wait and see, without this you knew what would happen, so at worst you delayed it (and if i know you you have used the time for the back up plan.........please say yes to that:o.......), and even if the responce is negative, it does not always mean that is the end of it.

I think i said it before somewhere, you had to try, so at the worst you can say you did all you could, no regrets, no what if's, so can move on knowing you did all you could, but who said it will be the worst, like i said no point second guessing,;)

    Thanks all

I am hanging in here, no other choice but to.

The back up plan Bat? I would like to know your thoughts, but yes I have thought of little else. What I am thinking will probably not be enough, but if the lender point blank refuses then I am going to my MP first. When I had the meeting with the LA I told them thats what I would be doing. They asked me to wait because they want to try first to negotiate (fair enough, thats what I want them to do) and if that fails they told me they will get the MP involved on my behalf themselves. Good, I wont accept anything less.

In the meantime if the lender refuses, I have the email for local communities and govt, I will contact them and ask them to help. I have already tried Martin Lewis but he cannot help me. But I absolutely wont give up. I will not go without a dam good fight. If anyone looking in can make suggestions to help, I am waiting.

If I am honest I am crushed the phone call didnt come today. I pretend I expected it not too, its easier to cope that way. Why promise that and then not make the call? Oh thats it, im just another statistic. Im not a real person with a family, with kids, who has been living with worry and stress for the last year over where we will live and when we will be chucked out on the street. Just another statistic, thats me.
