3 is the cheapest, but is it best

Why don't you ring them and ask? I would imagine that they would be happy to change your contract, so long as it costs as much or more than your current one.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

Well, I pushed and pushed. Their bottom line is
Nokia 6500 and a 300mins or texts mix with a 15 month contract, for 15 quid a month. He kept on and on about how good the 6500 was for battery life, but every review I read said it sucked.
Should I push for a different phone? Thing is, my phone works (sort of!)0 -
Handset:
Sony Ericsson K610i
Most commonly used location:
Brighton/Haywards Heath/Crawley/Gatwick
Ease and reliability and connection:
good signal all round - sometimes problems with the 3g network
Any other problems:
on third phone in 18mth contract due phone freezing, 3 customer service centre is very unhelpful and have been left without phone before (got a standby one now)
Overall service and rating (out of 10):
60 -
Further to my post 980, and subsequent discussions, I emailed the CEO of 3 very courteously acknowledging the benefits of the deal but that my wife had been promised a replacement at an earlier time than the contracted expiry date.
My wife then received a call stating that she shouldn't have been given that promise but as it had been made it would be honoured.
She was then sent a new Sony Ericsson K660. I don't know what it is compared to her roiginal Nokia 6288, but at least she now has a working phone. Result.0 -
Both my 3 mobile and 3 mobile internet are great. Very happy.0

Handset: Sony Ericsson k770i
Most commonly used location: Sheffield
Ease and reliability and connection: Where I live - dire connection, awful signal, 3G internet services rarely available. Improves slightly in other parts of the city.
Any other problems: Disgracefully poor customer service, all run by the ubiquitous India based script reading CS agents. For example, to complain I wrote to their customer services department in Glasgow, only to recieve a phone call from India a week later!
Overall service and rating (out of 10): 2/10 - price is the only good thing.0 -
Ihave the Sony Ericsson C902 and I mainly use it in the middle of Liverpool. It does not work at work though...0

Can i ask a really dumb question?
I am no longer under contract with orange (I had an 18mth contract), do i still need to give them 30 days notice as i want to go from contract to pay as you go due to a change in financial contraints? Sorry if this is an obvious question - would appreciate any1's input.0 -
Why not phone and ask them? To end a contract its usually the 30 notice but if you're staying but then they accept less.0
