    Morning all, :hello:

I had a good day at work yesterday, nothing alarming which is always a plus :rotfl:

So far this morning I've :
Hung up my clothes from my washing pile.
    Cleared my floordrobe.
Made our bed inc. bedspread for a change.
Put a towels load in the WM
Emptied mine and DD1's lunchboxes from yesterday that had got lost on the DR table :o

I'm now waiting for my friend who is s'posed to be joining me for pooch walking this morning (at 9.00am)
So I'm going to go and do the kitchen while I'm waiting.

BTW, (((hugs))) Holly, that must be really frustrating. CSA methinks. Can you take a copy of the FB page for 'evidence' of his spends?

ETA: Pigpen well done to your DD, :T I wanted to say tho, that I'm impressed with the school for continuing to push her to achieve more if she's able to. I like them having high expectations, and expecting her to have them too. iyswim. It would be rotten if they left her to stew when she's capable of more. My dd is really bright, but she's being allowed to coast along on the bear minimum.

    Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing Done!!:D:D:D
    Level 1

    Level 2
    Level 3

Did that Wednesday, but never got back to post - DS2 has been doing all the school stuff that he was supposed to do during the summer holidays, and which I didn't nag him to do then as I thought he needed a break!!

Busy day at school yesterday, but went reasonably smoothly. Turns out I have the bottom Year 7 set as well, but they seem quite amenable unlike last year's who had some really off the wall individuals (not with any diagnosable problems, just completely wild).

Okay, off to do the weekly shopping and the bathroom. I also want to do some shopping. I also have to sort surprise weekend away for OH's birthday - we've been plotting for a year, the kids and me, and he told us yesterday that there is a huge meeting that he has to attend on the Friday, so he now won't be able to have that day off...aaarrrgh!!! Decided to reshedule for the following weekend, even though DS2 has his first rugby match that Sunday - he'll just have to miss it.

mudbath - I'd have shouted too - how selfish!!

    Lady-Liberty - huge hugs

Toots - huge hugs for you too!!

Massive Well Done to pigpen's DD!!

I have been a skiver this week I must get something done. Please throw a mule my way.

Pigpen Well done to your DD on her exam results she has done brilliant. Have a great relaxing time away with OH you deserve it.
Orkneystar Well done on the potty training. I think you are doing the right thing about your lists. Just do your own thing your health is far more important than doing everything on the list.
Penpen Good luck with the dress making it sounds fun.
Jinky If it makes you feel any better I'm the same right now I keep falling asleep at odd times due to my meds. We can skive on facebook together:rotfl::rotfl:

I'm watching that too. Awful. My dad was flying across to New York the day it happened....i'll never forget how scared we were. He was diverted to Halifax, Canada and a lovely family took him in for four days until he could fly home. The human kindness that stemmed from it was amazing.
That must've been absolutely terrifying - but another example of kindness. People can be absolutely lovely sometimes...

Ditto that GnB - hugs and postive thoughts for you and yours. (loved the idea of 'the !!!!!! stick though - very vivid. Won't be using it with my new 'babies' when I am trying to help them to make their writing exciting though :rotfl: I have some little ones who seem so very young...lots of summer babes!)
