    Manic Monday ~ Kitchen of Grot and Diming Room of Gloom
    Level One
    Level Two
    Wipe the big appliances and units.. don't forget kickboards!
    Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge!
    Clear a sticky dishevelled cupboard
    Level Three
    Clean the oven and hob..


    Tickly Tuesday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
    Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
    Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc


    Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1
    Check fire alarms are working
    Arrange for gas fires/boilers to be serviced and/or chimneys to be swept BEFORE you need to use them!
    Remove and wash bed linen.
    Level 2
    Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs.. (make sure to do the bed base.. mine was gross last week!)
    Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen
    Level 3
    Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
    Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed

    Thursday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
    Level Two
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
    Level Three
    Clear clutter from floor
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom
    Clean the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!!


    The flyings not gone too well this week..looks like I'm going to have lots of catching up to do..

    Yes it is :mad: I haven't been able to get on there since early afternoon :mad: getting withdrawal symptoms :o


    But at least I have sorted loads of paperwork, including lots of family history stuff.....even have my Great-Grandparents wedding certificate from 1864 :D

    And DH has fitted the new shower...so quite a productive day.

    I'm off to bed. Hopefully the wind will have dropped enough by tomorrow for me to be able to go kayaking. I don't like it when there are waves on the river. I get seasick :o

    I also need to empty the bins and start packing up tomorrow. I'll work out what cleaning needs to be done (i.e. the stuff that the people who supposedly clean between visits clearly don't do ;)... I've already removed the mould from the bathroom tiles by the simple application of a bit of elbow grease to some cream cleaner and a nylon scourer!) and make sure I can fit it in before I leave.

    Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)

    Level Two
    Clean bath, toilet and sink
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!! (baby wipes are fantastic for this!!)
    Wipe keyboard, house phone and mouse


    Level Three
    Clear clutter from floor
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom
    Clean the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! ..


    Extras
    Wipe down 2 doors.. room doors.. both sides

    Hi,

    Toochoosey if Ds2 isn't around when i'm ironing i watch Tv, if he is i iron in the Kitchen otherwise he just flings clothes around or walks too close to the iron:rolleyes:.

    SSL i might just delete him.

    I've done 3 x HHI's and my ironing pile is still massive but it's much better than it was. I'm not putting it away now though.

    Hi all, sorry been a bit awol, a little busy.

    ((hugs)) for those who need one/want one, I have briefly read through just not enough hours in the day....really tired and hoping to take the caravan up to the site it was supposed to go to last week tomorrow, then I might escape there for the weekend.

    Well its been a week of emotional highs and lows this week (but I wont bore you with the details :o) so not much flying yet this week.

    Today since home from work have only managed to

    Cook tea
    See DH off to work
    Watched some Tv
    Cleared and wiped the surfaces in the kitchen
    Loaded DW
    Washed up what wouldnt fit (I think there was 3 days worth of washing up :o)

    Havent caught up with thread either so massive apologies
