    Morning all,
Not had much chance to read whole thread so hugs and all that........
Managing to keep on top of my minimal flying (basically thorough S and S's and targetted cleaning in certain areas)......might stick with my own list from now on ;).....although, thanks to Pigpen, I do certainly clean in a slightly more thorough way now.....and try to add in the odd extra bit here and there. Also with back, it makes more sense to set my own realistic targets and not feel I have to do certain things if cannot manage that week.
I will post my lists still though, and join in with HHC's etc, and may steal some of your ideas from the list Pigpen!
Flying wise today: make fish cakes, knit more cardi (preemie and DS), meet up with friend, continue to reinforce potty use (he is dry day time now :j:j), bake, phone mum in hospital!
Keep on smiling, even if things are tough, and remember a good dose of flying can cure many ills! Of course also remember that life is for living and noone has ever had 'she was a miserable sod but at least her house was spotless' written on their tombstone!!! Seriously though, take care all, and be good girlies!
    x
ETA Have a lovely time away Pigpen :)

    Morning all
orkney star- well done with the potty training....it's so much easier once you get that nappy stage.

well this morning dh has just taken kids off to school so in a minute i'm going to attempt my first run since before the holidays- realistically it will be more of a walk , with the odd bit of jogging.
Then i'll start on todays list when i get back. I made a start on dd's room after tea last night because i knew i just wouldn't get through both their rooms today.- got about an hour done before it was time to get them to bed- and now today's task isn't quite so daunting.

great weather again so i've stripped the cushion covers and throws off the sofa and thats all going to get washed today too- i'll be ready for bed tonight!!!!!!!!

    Morning lovelies!

Have a nice couple of days away pigpen, I'm gonna be nosey and ask where you're going :D Your DD did marvellously so I don't know why they're not happy with it, surely it would be better for her to put all her energy into doing her A levels instead of sitting her GCSE's again, I'm sure those grades are enough to get her onto A /levels.

Got work 9.30 - 3ish today and I'm tired already lol.....made my bed, seen to the cat, emptied then reloaded the DW, S&S'd the kitchen, got work gibble ready, need to make my sarnie in a min oh and put the hoover in the car.

Right, not a good start to the day. Telling a load of mum's to get a life and stop interfering with a load of stuff that's totally out of our control (a teacher has been told he's got a life threatening illness so needs to leave so teacher's are being swapped around) has not endeared me to anyone. I can't believe people are complaining. He didn't choose to get ill and he's got 3 children under 6. Deep breath!!!!

    Today i'm;
    - waiting for the piano tuner (he's just arrived!)
    - taking parents shopping/banking etc (then being taken out for lunch by them!!)
    - tidying up this pit especially the living room (last night DH came home with a new tv...someone at his work had won one and didn't need it so DH bought it off him). OMG we now have lots of channels instead of 3 and a half - still nothing to watch though!!)
    - walk dogs and take stripes to the vet to get her bandage off maybe for good!!!!
    - fill a charity bag with gubbins and carp!
    - do a 60 in 60 for each hour i'm in the house
    - get a grip!

That's me sorted for the day! Hope you all have a good one and hugs if you need them xx
  • Good morning everyone  Been awol this week, due to working 3 days, then out with DD yesterday. She had a chat with her tutor at college yesterday, and that was all, so I joined her on the train, and we went and looked round Leeds, looking at the art shops. We found a lovely fabric shop, so DD bought a dress pattern to use on the piece of fabric she's found. I'm helping her to adapt that today.

Pigpen - well done to your DD. Shame she has to resit her exams, rather than learning new stuff
