Hugs for you Fee Fee
Lil- me wine at 6.18? I was celebrating! Had a tough year on the self employed side and I got paid for the consultancy I did in June/July yesterday. Still owed money going back to April for other clients.
I have the day off again today (nice, but financially worrying!) so should be able to claim some stars later. Might get some of the wall paper scraped off upstairs so we can get on at the weekend.
Must do today:
Freshen up DH interview suit, wash and iron his new shirt
Strip and wash DS1s bed, steam his mattress, and put the waterproof stuff on.
Get a proper quote for my tiles
Dusty - might get my bike out of the garage too, not been on it for years. Thanks for the idea. I thought the hiring the trailer thing was a really good idea.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

AJ - there is no need tidying or cleaning things that don't need doing but like Hex said keep on top of it. I wipe my sinks nearly everyday so they now never need a deep clean. The idea of flying is to create more time to do things you want to do. You have reached a stage many on here have spend years aiming at :T
When I was a teenager I used to be a clean and tidy freak. My room was spotless and my sister used to call my all sorts of names because I did everything for my mum. If I wasn't at school/college/uni I did her washing and ironing and cleaned the whole house each week, had her lunch ready for her when she came home, I just didn't do dinner. When we moved in here I tried to keep it clean but it really was grotty and I had too many other things on. I started trying to get on top of things about three weeks ago but because I am determined I am getting there. I need to get the house sorted so I can concentrate on the garden which will be real back-breaking work. My main spur on now is the OH noticing. He said how much he loves the tidy, clean house last night. He invited a friend in for coffee on Monday night, he wouldn't have done that before so I know it is appreciated.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Ok after last week when the kids and OH were ill - of course I wait until everyone else is back to full health and needing entertained to catch the bug!! humf
Have felt dreadful all week, but marginally better today. So I'll see how I go catching up on everything!!
Just putting this all here as a reminder! Not quite sure where to start though!
