Evening all
Soappie , you're speeches sound like me, I used to do the AGM Treasurer speech and loads of people said they really enjoyed it and I was a natural especially after a glass or two of wine:rotfl:
Tomorrow morning I will finish the family room declutter and hope to find time to do a little flying aswell.
AJ - there is no need tidying or cleaning things that don't need doing but like Hex said keep on top of it. I wipe my sinks nearly everyday so they now never need a deep clean. The idea of flying is to create more time to do things you want to do. You have reached a stage many on here have spend years aiming at :TThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Feefee so sorry to hear about your weekend. Must have been very scary for you, and you family too.
I wish that I was near you so that I could come and help.
I am sure that the must be an agency that you can contact who can send someone round to help but I am not sure of any of their names. Would suggest that maybe you contact one of his doctors etc and ask whom you need to speak to. Am sure that they could suggest a home help team in your area.
So sorry I can't be of ore help.January Grocery 11/3740 -

OK today was quite good, got a nice looking living room now, but hasn't improved my mood like yesterday. I'm not sure what's going on, I've taken the ebay listings and exercise off my extras list for today and am going to have an early night, see if that sorts me out a bit!! Onwards and upwards I suppose. Going for a drink with a colleague after work tomorrow so I don't know how far I will get with this list, but the bedroom is quite tidy already so it might be doable.

Piggers - I asked my mate who's at uni and she said that her bursary doesn't affect her HB - don't know whether all councils are the same though.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

FeeFee - I'm so sorry to hear about your traumatic weekend. Where abouts in the UK are you based - I know i'm not near you as I'm marooned on a little island. But perhaps another Flyer is nearbye. Also I think you should look into getting a carer for your DH - just a few hours a week so it can free you to do your dogs, chickens etc. Perhaps there is a local carers support group which you could look into joining. I have a similar group of fellow parents of special needs children. It's nice to be in the company of those who have shared similar experiences.
I'm sure fellow forumers will be along with a whole heap of suggestions to help you. Our system is a little different to the Mainland but sadly I've found it's he who shouts the loudest gets the most help. Difficult I know.
I truly hope your friends and family can find a way to help you. Hugs xxx
On a totally different note - roughly how much does it cost to get a chimney swept. I've never had mine done and i've lived her 4 years. I know I'm broke but having a chimney fire wouldn't really help.Toxic & Tired - Starting 2010 afresh :beer:0 -
